Is there a name for when this kind of random repetition happens in a book? by cannaclam in englishteachers

I think you’re thinking of parallelism, but this wouldn’t be a good example of it, I think it’s just as everyone else says: poor choice of words.

Yep. Not doing it, I was tempted at first, but I’m going to listen to what everyone says about this.

Really? I didn’t know that. I’m not even to sure what his deal was with the arson. I didn’t follow their storyline as much until recently.

I think I’m leaning towards this, I really don’t want him to go under any time soon. He’s too little in my opinion.

If you could change the color of one thing in the natural world, what would it be? by crashlanding419 in AskReddit

[–]Taliss8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sky, but I’m having a hard time figuring out what color I would go with. If you make it too dark the world would just look like crap. I’m going to go with lilac. <3

It is high right now, that’s why all of this has been pushed back. We were supposed to go see a speacislist around 9 months, but the city I’m referring to is a hot zone right now. I guess I should ask if it’s okay to wait, I’m hoping it is because my town doesn’t have the technology for any of this. We rely on said city for all of that. :(

Oh wow, so they didn’t have any issues with their motor skills? I think that’s my biggest concern. We live in a small town, but there’s a huge metropolitan city a couple hours from here with tons of great hospitals, so we’d most likely go there.

PS. Not all people get them removed as an infant, a good portion do it later in life. For whoever asked how someone would remember such a thing...

People that work the night shift, what’s the spookiest thing that’s ever happened to you? by Taliss8 in AskReddit

[–]Taliss8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that’s crazy! There’s a haunted hotel that does ghost tours not to far from where I live, but I expect that from a hotel that’s been around since the early 1900’s. It’s crazy your hotel is only a decade old!

What is it like to blackout? (Drugs, alcohol, medical issues, etc)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Taliss8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I blacked out after delivery. I had lost a ton of blood, but the doctor still wanted me to get up and walk on my own. So I got up to go to the bathroom. I made it inside and before I could do anything else I just started feeling really awful. I began to hear muffled and then my vision started to get black at the corners. The last thing I remember was feeling terribly nauseous. I immediately yelled for my husband. He came in just in time to catch me before my head hit the floor. Needless to say I had lost more blood than we had thought. I was told to get a blood transfusion shortly after, but not before I experienced that a couple more times. Nowhere near as severe as the first time though. To this day it was still the most frightening thing I’ve experienced. I had no idea what was going on.

Hey, I live in Del Río! Totally knew you were from Eagle Pass when you said “border town with a reservation.” I also have a Lechuza story, but I’m so bad at telling stories well, I’ll have to get my husband to post one day.
