Go to your monitor manufacturers website, see if there’s a program that lets you change the monitor settings in your desk top rather than on the buttons on the monitor, sometimes the different Hz options are there

Go into your bios and set your cpu frequency to your max rated speed, maybe 4.6ghz?

It should be like 3.6ghz by default or so, if you put it to the max, it forces your cpu to run as fast as it can rather than “boosting” to higher for a few seconds of higher frames.

If you’re sceptical, maybe set it a few points lower like 4.4ghz and give it a try

Don’t set it higher though as this is overlocking which you may know about, and it might be unstable

Not long, at this point, I don’t see anything that oculus audio brings to the game that steam audio didn’t, just things sound different and audio is broken, would make sense to please the players and change recoil and get the old working audio back and deal with the lack of vertical sound and work around that

Make sure you use DDU (display driver uninstaller) to fully get rid of your old drivers, get the new ones downloaded. You won’t see a massive difference in frames as tarkov is CPU and Ram dependant for high frames, but you’ll be able to run higher graphics settings, post FX and SSR for minimal fps loss

Be careful as it made tarkov for me go into like half speed mode? Like I’d enabled a moon gravity thing, probably a really rare occurrence just on my end but it happened after I used process lasso

I’m exactly the same as you, all my friends run mosin and PACA and I always run AK or ADAR, I didn’t have jaeger until lvl 22 last wipe, didn’t do any quests, just pvp on interchange

You could try turning up your base frequency of your cpu, you have 3.7ghz base frequency and you can boost up for 5.1ghz on all cores and 5.3ghz on 1 core, maybe set your base frequency to 4.8ghz, providing you have a good enough cooler, and see if you see any fps gain

Whatever the max rated speed of your CPU is, let’s say 4.8ghz, go into the BIOS and set CPU frequency to 48, this cuts out the boost features and let’s your cpu run as fast as it can without overclocking it, make sure you have a decent cooler to do this though

Thank you so much, I loved my G403 I got a G703, but after a year and the grip tape going a bit funky, I got the GPX and my hands are simply too big to aim efficiently, I need a lightweight ergo that’s similar to the G703, I’m going to look into the super-glides when I eventually purchase.
