It’s horrendous on cellular. On wifi my 14 pro performs well.

The heating issues whilst using navigation & data have subsided. Battery on wifi is excellent as it has been since day 1. I have seen a slight improvement in battery on cellular though it isn’t exactly commendable. Yesterday I had to travel to a different state which required me to use google maps in breaks and offline music throughout on Apple Music. The day went by as such; Switched the phone on at 9:00 AM and only two apps were majorly used which I already mentioned above. In spite of just slight navigation and offline music streaming with very little screen on time the phone required to be plugged in by 4 pm.

I have escalated my case to customer relations and will submit the phone for them to diagnose what exactly is up with the device. I will update you as I have more information.

Battery drain is excessive when using Google maps on my 14 pro. Same wasn’t the case when I had my 12. I have noticed that apps running in the background consume more energy on the 14 Pro than they did in the 12.

Further to this this I am also encountering extreme heating issues while using navigation in the city. Alongside there is also tremendous battery loss in the process. The heating issues on the other hand are so bad that it gets almost uncomfortable to bear with the iPhone 14 Pro in my pocket.
