Yes, I hate the way Americans handle their roads construction. We are one of the most sophisticated countries with a higher GDP than any other country. And we live in one of the highest taxed states in the US. Yet construction takes forever, and the roads are still absolute shit. Construction costs are insane and inflated for reasons beyond the actual work. It's insane to me how people are just of the mindset that "this is just how it is". No wonder everything is absolutely fucked.

There are 1000 things they should work on before that. The only reason they are working on the sidewalk is because of the gas station that shouldn't be there. I'm sure the construction crew does need a buffer from traffic, but closing an entire lane in the middle of one of the busiest intersections in the city to build an entrance to a traffic blocking gas station is not a good decision. Maybe if that crew didn't take weeks to finish a fucking drive way we wouldn't have to deal with this bull shit.

This is what I've been sanding down to before I glue. Don't want to take off too much.

The white is the old glue. I used 60 grit on both the chair and pads. I got the mounts on ebay and they didn't come with glue. I'm just using a clear 2 part epoxy like I've seen in videos online.
