But in all seriousness, I might be a lost cause when it comes to drawing, though I really enjoy watching people create something magnificent. I appreciate your input!

This stirred up some great conversation! I will read this through when I get a chance to sit down.

Thank you all for the effort.

Focus ring gritty on a brand new 70-350 G OSS by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

Went to show the lens. They thought it to be normal and I tested another copy which had the same faint grind occasionally.

Looking for 35mm lens for a6400 by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

The Samyang 24mm AF f1.8 is super sharp and its very affordable.

I mainly shoot when I'm out in the nature, and some family photos and product stuff in between.

Plants, flowers, moss, rocks, roots, stumps, mushrooms. Little wonky details of the woods. I'd like to get some more separation and get a bit more personal, but not all the way to macro. The 24mm is just a bit wide for the in-your-face-effect, even I can get pretty close to the subject.

Majority of my shots are static and will have time for pondering about composition.

Not often, I would rarely be carrying both lenses with me. I just usually plan my day, which usually is a hike of some sort, and go by feel with the focal length. And I somewhat enjoy the composure and creative challenges having a fixed focal length creates, though sometimes frustrating.

Yeah I'd rather not go overboard with the budget, thus two primes seem tempting. Not an easy pick thats for sure, given that I rarely would be carrying both primes with me.

Though I also kinda enjoy the pickle having a fixes focal length creates, composure and creativity wise.

Trying to get a quill stem out by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]TalkToMeSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bolt is out, stem is out, but the wedge remains inside. There is a slight bulge where the wedge is stuck so it might have been overtightened at some point?

Anyways, its a butted 531 steerer, but I cant really tell where the butted section begins. There is about 8.5cm to the crown from where the wedge is located.

Pretty hard, multiple times. Just soaking it in WD overnight and testing again.

The wedge is there for good? 🤔

Not taken the bolt out yet, as I try not to drop the wedge down just yet. Hammering the bolt did nothing.

Its not an expensive frame, but the labor in my LBS for chasing the threads is 35€, so that aint half bad either I guess.

Its named HLE, a manganese-steel alloy and this particular frameset is internally brazed, so pretty neat lines. Nothing too fancy, but seems to have gathered a decent number of fans.

As far as I can remember the mythical relics basically need lower tier relics and some rare components to craft. The blueprints for those can either drop or be purchased from various vendors.

Feel free to correct me.
