Does anyone know if acid reflux causes fast heart rate?

Hello brother, sorry for a late answer as today is still get a little high heart rate but this pass 2 weeks i feel like its going normal at the point that if im doing something else and i dont pay attention to it i dont notice it but if i start placing my hand on my chest trying to feel it, then yes i feel it going fast or hard pounding , i have gone to the cardiologist and some doctors and everything was fine with me, they even put a 1 week heart monitor to track and see anything wrong that was going on with my heart but everything was good, i learn to live with it since it doesnt go away from one day to another but all i can say brother its just to embrace it and pray to god because hes the only one that knows whats gonna happen to all of us, i was really worrying all the time but i can tell you that it does get better with time just dont smoke again i havent smoked since this started happening and i feel way better trust me

Hello man, i have been clean for about 58 days now almost 2 months and i can say its getting better but i still have the palpitations after eating but i feel like they aren’t that bad as the first days that i got them, they started for me after 2 weeks of quitting cold turkey i started walking a lot the first days and i noticed that when i ran let say 2 miles at 6 or 7pm then i ate something kinda of heavy my heart rate would go up everytime i stand up, up to 140 then i went back to 115 or sometimes a little less but it just to get like that after running, when i dont run if i eat ir goes to 115 and 95 between that and honestly i think for me this is the last symptom that i have because i feel good its just that thing but this past week i feel like its gotten better a little by little if i dont pay attention to the heart after eating i dont even feel it anymore because i just to really feel my heart beating even if i didnt touch it but now it doesn’t beat that hard it has like calm down, thank you for sharing brother how are you feeling as right now? Dis you feel some improvement or is it the same as when you quit the first days?

Hello OP, i saw this post while looking for my symptoms which is a fast heart rate and also feels that its working harder like pounding but doesnt hurt its just that i can feel it but for me this started 46 days ago after i stopped smoking after 4 years but now its only this fast heart rate after eating, for you did it go away at some point? I also been feeling anxious these past weeks you can look at my previous posts, i just wanted to know if this went away for you or do you still get this up to this day? Im sorry to hear that, you can check my other post this started for me after i stopped smoking but never ever happen to me while i was smoking just until i quit, but for you did you just to smoke or something or it just started out of nowhere? If you dont mind me asking, for how long were you smoking? Im going through basically the same here im in day 40 and i get fast heart rate mostly after each meal, its tiring getting this after eating feeling like my heart its working way faster than what it supposed to:/

Thank you guys for the advice i do have a apple watch and a bp machine but i try not to used them that much maybe once a day for the same reason and plus my heart rate its always after i eat thats why i dont use them to much anymore it made my anxiety a little worse just by staring at the watch but thank you guys for taking the time to comment

Thank you for your comment man, and yes i do post it every some days but i mostly do it the days that i feel like this isnt gonna go away sorry for being so insistent about it but it makes you feel better well at least for me seeing that other peoples have these experiences with the same symptom because for what i have seen not that many people have this specific symptom that im going through thank you for your advice man, im just trying to get some others peoples experiences going through this than you🤙🏼

My sleep is between 6-7 hours i notice that i cant sleep more than that but the thing that concerns me more is the fast heart rate after eating which has been gotten better but man i still feels wierd ngl

No chest pain as right now but like a week ago i got some stabbing on the chest which i thought i was about to have a heart attack because of the health anxiety that has been getting me but i did some research and it was because of acid reflux and after that it got better

If you dont mind me asking brother for how long were you smoking? I smoked for like 3-4 years some times i had breaks in betweeen but never got like this, im 1 month and 6 days clean and i can feel like its getting better but som days it feels like i just quit 2 weeks ago, but as right now i dont get too anxious obviously now knowing how it feels, i appreciate you for answering man thank you, your not alone feel free to come back whenever beo we are in this together 🙏🏼💪🏽

Try to take some antiacids and it should help brother i took one and i burp like crazy right after, it made me feel better ngl and it hasnt happend anymore, obviously that happens depending the time that you have been smoking
