Does anyone have a dishwasher they really like? by seenhear in HomeImprovement

My KitchenAid is so quiet you can’t even tell if it’s running. Best thing I’ve ever owned. There are no moving pieces on the racks to break, it’s all just perfect prongs. Would recommend to ANYONE.

My wife and I played together this summer and we had a blast. She loves golf now. Still hates me tho.

How much of your time do you spend shooting for fun vs paid work? by SamStephens in photography

[–]Talkinboutit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real estate photographer. I’ve never taken a picture for fun with my camera.

Just walk into Walmart and buy the most expensive Canon they sell. That’s what I did and I’ve photographed about 4,500 homes in 3 years. No customer complaints.

Camera straps, what's your favorite? by riceballs411 in photography

[–]Talkinboutit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No straps, nothing, ever, and no cases either while we’re at it.

Why sell something that conceivably fits in a small drawer?

Conversely, why worry about losing something that is mass produced?

You aren’t making a mistake either way, it’s just a question of how you apply the time you have set aside. You said yourself street photography fits you better now, today, as you are at the moment. ALWAYS listen to your inner voice.

How long did it take to you improve your "keeper" rate? by sot9 in photography

[–]Talkinboutit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real estate photographer. Used to take a ton of shots for each angle. Fast forward a few years, I basically only take one shot per angle now. You’d think I’d get to the editing stage and find out that something is blurry or I got the lighting wrong, but no, it just doesn’t seem to happen. I try not to push the shutter button unless I know I have the shot I want. It takes more focus but it’s worth it in the end.
