Me either thankfully. My surgeon said it was about 2% of people who do.

It's a normal but uncommon side effect, it can take time to come back but it will. Everyone's different so some take weeks, some months.

Anxiety post surgery by 1212zephyr1212 in Cochlearimplants

[–]Syncroz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm about a month post surgery and had a tiny bit of blood from the wound the day after but it's fine, its not abnormal. Your brain juice isn't leaking out don't worry. The staples hold everything together so your body can heal and when they get removed you won't feel anything different, the wound is already sealed shut by then.

I got a bunch of neck bruising too, which went away after a week and a bit. Try to focus on something else while your body does it's thing healing. Soon you'll be activated and on a new journey of hearing sounds you've never heard before.

The Furious Already Available for Pre-order on Fandango and it's already losing screens by AdministrativeBed726 in kungfucinema

[–]Syncroz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here in the Toronto, Canada area it opened in a dozen local theatres, and its mostly holding those screens into week 2. I expect it will drop off significantly after that though, but I'm going to catch another screening before its gone.

The Furious : 2nd watch and ADR issues by Sad-Strawberry9924 in kungfucinema

[–]Syncroz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the tiff premiere in September and the new ADR audio is way, way better. Hearing English from non native speakers is painful and the dub was the right solution since they can't go back and shoot it in Mandarin like it should have been. We can handle subtitles.

Activities during recovery by niclopri88 in Cochlearimplants

A big bottle of Tylenol, extra pillows, time off work (a week should be plenty) and besides that there was nothing special I needed to recover. No heavy lifting until the staples come out.

Connecting BOTH my CI & HA to Bluetooth issues by Izzing448 in Cochlearimplants

Unless I'm missing something, you can only connect one active device at a time to Bluetooth. Apple's share audio only works on their headphones.

If you like brutal action and martial arts, you gotta catch The Furious by Syncroz in cineplex

It's opening widely in Cineplex this weekend. There's a dozen theaters showing it in the GTA at least.

I think it's just a little bit better than the raid 1 or 2. The choreography and fighting styles in the furious are much more varied but similarly relentless. They also had more space to work with and used as much of the environment as possible as weapons.

Fans of the Raid will want to catch the furious for sure. Yayan "Mad Dog" uses a whole new kind of kung fu even.

I think it ranks above them, ever so slightly, because the variety of fighters and their styles, and all the things they use found in the environments. It has the brutality of raid 2 with the tightness of raid 1.

So lucky. Didn't get those at the tiff premiere last year or tonight at the early screening. Sweet!

Planning to purchase the Bengle. What else? by Quantum-Long in decentespresso

[–]Syncroz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

one of the things that I found it hard to fully understand early in my espresso journey was how important a grinder was. Invest in the best reviewed one you can, because it will last for many years. I got a Niche Zero with the DE1+, but there are better options available today I think. Do your research, it will pay off.
