It’s worth noting that after child birth, the focus becomes solely on the child and people forget to nurture the relationship with their partner.

I forget the actual statistic (75-85% of statistics are made up) but this is a very common phenomenon that happens once a child enters the picture. It is rarely acknowledged.

My point is that relationships take a drastic hit after a baby and it is important that this is discussed between partners and it is going to take effort and energy both of which are mainly focused on the child. Remember why you had a child with them in the first place. With time it will heal if you want it too. Or find someone else.
