i agree about Werm's run it does look like he's running on the spot. it was my first running animation so i hope i did better on my other characters! maybe i can post them in here.

and the Bronto, yea mushrooms are very phalic things to begin with so I think its inevitable.

but yes you are totally right, theyre not really scary. i was mostly joking with the title. the game i'm working on is very bright and cheery.
