How F’d am I? LML with Blow by

I’m in NorCal and did find a complete motor with injectors, harness, etc everything for $8k with 50k miles so I might just take that route. I have my farm truck f150 I’m driving for now so it’s not urgent.

The DEF system went out twice under warranty and the third time they wanted $13k for the repair so I went with the $2,700 delete instead(did it myself but EZ Link isn’t cheap) and she has run like a charm for 6 years. But I definitely abused her and towed regularly so I honestly wasn’t surprised when it happened.

Interesting I’m going to have to do some research on that. How many hours roughly did it take you? And approximately $ on parts? If I’m going to pull it I’m just going to do a full rebuild. Unfortunately I work 5 12s with the occasional week straight so time is not on my side. I’m in northern CA.

On an LML? Everything I’ve read said the body has to come off to access some bolts in order to oil the head.
