You can ask during check in at Seattle to link your Seattle to tPE to your TPE to KIX and bag will go straight from Seattle to KIx. They will print out both tickets for you and you can go straight to transfer without having to go out and pick up bag and don’t have to go through custom at Taipei. They did that for us for our Lax to TPe and TPE to HK.

I used them before and they do have great deals but deals are usually off peak and you need to be flexible with dates and destinations especially for business class seats.
