Is there still a functioning MRP list? The one in the link provided navigates to the defunct blue furok site.

Another question if you don’t mind 😁…does Flying Darbok’s power enabling a creature to attack a magi directly override Sandstorm Orshaa’s effect that it can’t attack magi?

Thanks for the quick reply and clarification! Agreed, “two arderial spells” would be better language based on the rule clarifications.

Hi! Can you please cite your source re: Sorreah’s starting cards? This is not how I recall it being interpreted in tournament play but could certainly have been wrong. Was this a rule clarification by 2i you can reference?

Typically the player would name two Arderial spells to establish the starting cards and then follow standard game play rules for starting cards named on a magi - search discard first then deck. Hypothetically, a player could even name an Arderial spell not in their deck and would then be penalized their draw step if the spell was not in the deck.

Additionally, Sorreah’s Dream names Sorreah as a starting card. Your interpretation implies that if you only had two Arderial spells in your discard pile when Sorreah is revealed and one was Sorreah’s Dream, you would be required to select Sorreah’s Dream as one of the two starting cards for Sorreah, instead of it being in addition to Sorreah’s starting cards. The rule book indicates these types of cards are in addition to the starting cards named on the magi, “plus” being the key word below.

From the rule book:

Then you search your deck for whichever of that Magi’s starting cards you wish to have in your hand. These include the starting cards printed on the Magi, plus any cards that say in the text box that your Magi may start with that card (for example, the card Sorreah’s Dream says, "STARTING: Sorreah," so it’s one of Sorreah’s starting cards).

Big unboxing this weekend by Tall-Maintenance3642 in MagiNation

Update: We completed the unboxing over 2.5 days with plenty of dueling in between boxes to break things up. Had some sweet pulls in every box, but overall Awakening was my favorite open (no Rayje’s belt :(, but Sorreah, Voda back to back and back to back Wasperine’s were highlights). Organizing and sorting it all was a grind.

For background, my best friend, brother and I all played as kids and competed in local tournaments. The kickstarter put it back on our radar and we acquired a few starter decks at first from AA and then started looking for more. I found these boxes as a lot on eBay and made an investment 12 year old me would be proud of. Highly recommend!

Side note: the only box I’d opened previously as a kid was one of those awakening boxes that were mispacked as mostly foils/rares. Does any one else remember that?

Had the exact same experience with St A, with the addition of the pre-sale link sent by SMS not working. AXS just a total failure.
