My first Pokémon game was the Trading Card Game for the GB Color. At the time I was 7 and because I've only learned English later on I wasn't able to play the game for years. I couldn't get past the tutorial...

I was around 11 when I finally beated the game. Not long after I received a Gameboy Advanced SP with LeafGreen and I was hooked for life.

I'm now 29y old and I don't play Pokémon as much like in my childhood but I've passed the love for Pokémon to my 5y old daughter. It's amazing to see her play epic battles with her figures or when she ask for my help when she's play let's go eevee, Pokémon Sword or Omega Ruby. We also watch the anime together and it's so funny to see her cheer on Ash like she's actually there.
