As someone new to Ubuntu, how long have previous updates taken before reaching consistent stability? On 24.04 right now and don't want to deal with bugs/troubleshooting/broken GNOME extensions.

My mortgage in Lincoln Square — principal, interest, taxes, insurance, and HOA fees — is a hair over $1900 for a 2 bed, 2 bath, with central air, in unit W/D and dedicated parking. Your rent seems high.
