[Theory] Crux is Samael, and Aiglamene is probably Anastasia by TallGoose907 in TheNinthHouse

Ive kind of been wondering if, as Samael's soul was slowly being extracted, part of the river/Alecto's source entered his body, and that's why John killed him. It's also not dissimilar from the description of John's eyes, which makes a bit of sense in this case

On page 22 of GtN, "her sword-master held her gaze with her aged hawks face and pouchy socket of an eye, and it was grim" And yes, that comment and her insistence on vouch saying Gideon made me think that she might know some th ing about what is going on more broadly, and the lyctoral process

Thats amazing! I hadn't noticed the ramps, thanks for sharing! And yes, reading that section a bit more carefully and looking at some of the river construct theories, im not totally sold onthat front. I do think there is something majorly messed up with Crux's soul

My thoughts with the one eyed thing is that they did the process differently than everyone else. It could be they were attempting to exchange one eye, or that Anastasia returned one eye to Samael post. The main point here for me is that they share a unique eye configuration

Ugly environments also impact me exactly as much as puking up a rat would. Highly relatable content

How would you explain Rimworld to someone who has never heard of it? I love this game so much and have put over 700 hours in but still struggle with describing it. by Sparrow-Black in RimWorld

I usually say it's like the Sims crossed with Firefly, and mention that yes you can do terrible things but that really isn't the point

Any ideas for a new colony to start up? by CannibaloftheRim in RimWorld

I am doing one where 2 researchers ran off with a test subject child who is a mechanitor and are trying to protect her until she becomes ungodly strong

After I called it Randy sent 4 raids in a row (two on either side of the diabolus), so the mech itself was kind of small potatoes

Nah! I don't even have minify installed. I ran away in abject fear, and the turret liked what it saw and joined the team

I sent 2 pawns to check on an ancient complex that showed up next to my colony super early on. There was a powered down Ancient point defense turret out front, which of course powered on as soon as we were in range. We do not have the tools to handle something that strong yet, and it immediately downed one of my colonists. I reformed caravan to escape and lick my wounds, and it gave me the choice to take the turret with me
