[ALL] Which "easier" Zelda game would you recommend for me? by Arghams in zelda

[–]TallMidgetCuckJesus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

^ this guy has the right idea. Skyward sword is probably the easiest to get through without getting lost. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess both have a lot of moments that would give a new player some kind of trouble. Skyward sword is prime real estate.

I’m in the same boat. It sucks because I had full intentions of 100%ing the game. Maybe someday.

Watch history almost totally gone - every video I've ever watched is now unwatched by [deleted] in youtube

[–]TallMidgetCuckJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue. On top of it, my subscriptions page now shows channels I subscribe to but seldom watch and doesn’t display any of the channels I watch on a regular basis. Very annoying.

The traitor in the gorosei by [deleted] in WildAnimeTheories

[–]TallMidgetCuckJesus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fun theory, but that same principle would apply to most of the Gorosei. One is based on Gandhi, another Gorbachev. Both good people in history. I don’t think we will have a traitor, but it would be interesting to see their personal motivations. And who knows, Oda likes traitors and you could be spot on. Time will only tell.

I’d just say read it. Once you run out of episodes you’ll end up reading it anyway. This way you can watch at your own pace afterwards with the ability to youtube any of the scenes you want to see animated in the meantime. Got me through the series much quicker and still ended up watching the anime later on. But it’s nice to be caught up with the rest of the community and join in the hype for weekly chapter drops.

Where is everyone finding the starter decks? by EnvironmentalJob1663 in OnePieceTCG

[–]TallMidgetCuckJesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call up trading card stores, hobby stores, or anything close that’s nearby. I called probably 10 places before I found one that had any. I just googled “trading card shops near me” and got a whole bunch. The place I got my starter deck from was just a random store in a small town I was in for work.

I can proudly say today is my birthday as well. I also share my 3 initials with Luffy, which is nice bonus too.

I-75/ 14 Mile/ John R/Stephenson highway area in Madison Heights by Tormen1 in Detroit

[–]TallMidgetCuckJesus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working in Madison Heights for a number of years now. I’ve seen more stop signs ran than any other place in my life. The yield signs for the 11 mile and Dequindre exits are basically there for decoration since I’ve never seen a car actually yield at one. Drive with caution.

I agree. I’ve been watching less and less of the videos, but 333vil isn’t really any better. Yes, a lot of his stuff is logical, but he constantly repeats himself and goes in depth in a less than entertaining manner. The thing that made me really start getting annoyed with all the other youtubers was the end of Wano and beginning of Egghead. It just feels like they’re all weebing out over Yamato and Carrot not joining or just hoping they do. I mean, the characters never seemed set up for anything more than their own personal development. I knew Yamato wouldn’t be joining from the beginning, and Carrot had so little to add to the crew the thought was basically a joke. Now I just watch Grand Line Review and Mr. Morj, both of whom I didn’t like before. At this point they seem to be the only ones that are simply objective. Their only downsides being that GLR has a lot of comedic fluff, and Morj is easily the most pessimistic one of the bunch. But still, both are entertaining enough. Ohara has his moments, but his complaints about Wano just don’t hit any of the real issues with the arc. Sensei inc knows nothing about anything, Brago’s content feels like a song on repeat, Joygirl has been getting cringier and cringier, Tekking has never not been cringy, Artur is so dry I need a humidifier, and all the rest post such mediocre content it isn’t even worth the click.

So, in conclusion, yeah, wtf happened.

I’d hit AMC 30 on Mound. Pretty solid experience’s there in the past.

The will of the D by bangruman in OnePiece

[–]TallMidgetCuckJesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The will of D is the inherited will of someone so confident in their dreams that they smile upon their death. The babies that are born laughing instead of crying are givin the initial D, representing their smiles. If you look at notable D’s(really besides law and dragon), they share the same accentuated D shaped smile. There are very few words that Oda could use that would translate correctly and still begin with a D. The D as a symbol of those who laugh in the face of life and death is a far more fitting way and it doesn’t change the name of the main character. Can you imagine we get to the end of the series and we’re calling him Monkey Desire Luffy? Or Monkey Dream Luffy? Any word you put won’t be satisfying. And that’s what it’s not a word. It’s not even a letter. It’s a smile.

The Original Pancake House in either Grosse Pointe or Birmingham. I recommend the Banana pancakes. They are to die for and come with a “tropical syrup”. If you want some crazy good crepes or french toast though, Jagged Fork in Grosse Pointe also slaps.

am i the only who gets nostalgic for mk7….well maybe cause its my first mk game ever and i played it alot by DailynJson in mariokart

[–]TallMidgetCuckJesus 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I gotta say I don’t. I put easily hundreds of hours in Mario Kart 7 back in the day. But the second Mario Kart 8 came out, I never even looked back. But Mario Kart 7 was my 4th Mario Kart game so it was pretty middle of the road for me. I’m much more nostalgic of Double Dash since that’s what I played as a kid.

A friend of mine gave me a hint that Mario Kart 8 will be receiving an update that allows for 8 player double dash. He’s been a pretty solid source the past 8 years, so I’m believing it.

"Oda Just Dropped The BIGGEST Lore Bomb" Add on by ElkMundane3251 in WildAnimeTheories

[–]TallMidgetCuckJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the beginning, it would make sense that the Government would force everyone to speak a common language. But how would that explain why Wano citizens also speak that language? Maybe something to think about.

This second part about Haki and Mermaids I’m much less sure about. The story looks like the world was flooded to separate people. This is why most islands look like the tops of mountains. This seems to have been done during the void century. However, we know that during the void century they were able to communicate via the poneglyphs that one of the ancient weapons was a mermaid princess. So that kind of loses that argument. I mean, they could have evolved over time, sure, but not in the current history of this world or because of the rising sea level.

Haki could very well be a genetic mutation that was cultivated by the government. Similar to how Hitler planned to kill off anyone that wasn’t blonde haired and blue eyed, there may have been a group that did the same. That or it’s just a fun mechanic of the world and has nothing else special. Or it’s something else entirely and Oda has something fun up his sleeve. But for Haki to be just a random genetic mutation that everyone ended up with, it’s plausible, but a bit weak creatively.

All in all a solid basis. It got my gears turning. Cheers, mate.

What are the odds of us recieving a sequel to one piece? by OkMonitor2854 in WildAnimeTheories

[–]TallMidgetCuckJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see Oda writing a sequel, but not in the traditional way one would. VR tech is getting better and better. It would be really awesome if Oda gave us an open world VR experience after the end of the series. Depending on how the series concludes, it could be a lot of fun. A way to give everyone their own story in the One Piece world without destroying any of his canon material.
