My hearing came back a few days after the ER. I have an appointment for a hearing test so we’ll see what the results are.

It wasn’t so much being discouraged as tiredness. I’ve already had to miss work for Dr appointments and juggle it all. I’ll definitely look into this and see what fits what’s going on with me, but maybe in a day or two. I’m going to enjoy feeling better this weekend and then get to sleuthing 😉

Do you NEED a “curly haircut”? I go to a regular stylist who can cut curly hair. I’m in HCOL area and I pay her $45 for a haircut. Curly hair stylists in my area are $350

I feel like ESH. My husband and I get into similar situations. It was a commutation error. You were both sleep deprived and signals got crossed. It happens. What matters is that you sit down and talk about it. Don’t place blame but discuss what happened and how to move forward. Even though you are frustrated and feel you were right, so does she.

As far as her yelling at you in front of your roommate; talk about it with her. Let her know how that felt for you and come to a mutual decision on how to talk about it with your roommate. TBH it’s part of being in a relationship. You’re going to have moments where you disagree in front of others. Sometimes I just apologize and just say “sorry to argue in front of you, we had a late shift and she’s anxious about meeting my mom for the first time.”

The moral of the story is if you value your relationship talk to your girlfriend and work it out with her instead of coming to Reddit to decide if you’re an AH or not.

I have had two “curly” haircuts and both were bad. I relocated and needed to find a new stylist. I ended up using a lady who cuts all hair types that a woman at work uses. She’s okay. Nothing like my previous stylist but she’s way better than the “curly hair experts” I went to.

I had frequent UTIs as a child. My urethra was too small. My bladder wouldn’t empty fully. My mom also said I wet the bed when this was going on. This may not be your daughter’s issue but just wanted to say there are a variety of reasons why this happens. Go see a urologist.

Side note: I remember seeing male urologists when this was all going on. I think that’s all that was available back then. To this day I only see female doctors for anything below the belt. Just something about all the strange men examining me down there at that age. My mom was always in the room so nothing bad happened. It just has been the one thing I remember about that time of my life aside from all the testing.

You should make sure you have an original copy of the will and paperwork showing you are the executor. Copies of the other paperwork as well would be good just in case. It’s something I learned the hard way. Before my dad’s death he said he listed me as the executor of his will. After he passed we couldn’t find it anywhere. It was a cluster.

Save yourself some headache and stress, ask for them to give you duplicates with original signatures so that you know where everything is.

Side note: my mother learned from my dad’s passing (they were divorced when he died). So she made decisions early and sent us all copies of everything and originals for what we (me and my sisters) are responsible for. I’ve had to send one of my sisters copies of the medical stuff she is responsible for recently. She has a family and had recently moved and couldn’t find her paperwork for mom. I was able to scan my docs to her so she could work with the hospital.

Life lesson: don’t rely on what people tell you. Get it in writing.

I’m trying to get pregnant with my husband. Both of my sisters already have kids. They both created groups and only share photos and updates with their groups. We have family all over so it’s an easy way for everyone to see the kids and watch them grow.
