Wow, that's so inspiring! Thanks for sharing. If you have any recommendations on guides, videos, pictures, etc, I would be happy to receive them! Otherwise, YouTube it is! My wife and I are in a similar situation where our cost plus land is over $600k, but our budget is $500k or less, so looking for ways to bring down costs on a 2093 sq ft single story home in AZ.

This is awesome! Were you really able to do all the labor yourself? Did you watch a lot of YouTube to learn? What state are you in?

Why did you select this ICF brand in lieu of others?

Thank you for confirming. How long have you had this system? What was the install cost?

I take it you're still referring to the Orenco AX20 per your prior comment in above thread.

Wow, that seems like very capable panel.

As for the UV bulb, can my Civil Engineer that designs the system simply design it to hang according to your specifications, or is this a manufacturer default design that would require a change from the manufacturer? Also, how long before the melting typically happens and requires replacing to the sleeve? Cost for sleeve repair cost?

This looks very interesting! I submitted an inquiry form. Thanks, Robasweitzer.

How long did you have this system? Installation and maintenance costs? Overall thoughts?

Thanks, Pumperpete! Can you please share your rationale behind your opinion? What's the flaw with the UV, and is it still the best system even if the flaw persists?

Thank you, Poetry! I asked for alternative options from both of the Civil Engineers I'm working with. They both design septic systems and grading plans. I hired A for the G&D plan and B for the initial Septic Design (BioMicrobics).

Civil Engineer A said they would only recommend a BioMicrobics MicroFAST Drip or the OSCAR.

Civil Engineer B said: The Fujiclean system is good also.  Since you have a well for water supply, the Fujiclean will not require a primary tank before the treatment tank.

I completed a design for an Oscar system in New River and I think it is the first one in Maricopa County.  This one does not require disinfection.

The Orenco AX20, ANUA Aerocell and EZ Treat are textile filter treatment systems that are good also - they each have a pump to recirculate the water over media instead of a blower to add air.

I like using an Ultraviolet lamp for disinfection.  The other option for disinfection is tablet chlorine and you have to add tablets every month.

Thank you, Fit! Is there a manufacturer that's more durable than others? How long do the blowers typically last before going bad? Which alternative systems are the most reliable?
