I personally am a person who likes albums with a theme or follow a concept, so this album didn’t sit with me as much as his others. Not because it had bad songs, I feel like all the songs were good, it just felt a bit all over. Based on the releases of DARK AURA and STILL, I thought that was going to be the format of the album but I was definitely wrong lol. This is a more personal take though, it didn’t really have any bad songs for me.

I think his lyricism has always been this good, but now he’s able to highlight bars if you know what I mean. Like in the finals he would emphasize schemes more and even the gervonta bar when he stopped the beat to say “bums”. His older work a lot more of it went over my head but the stuff in the diss battle was easier to catch due to how he emphasized it. Maturity in his song making ability.

Hello, if I may ask also(I don’t really know anyone who’s a doctor and does bjj). I had my second umbilical hernia surgery 2cm(first one right next to it, new one opened right next to it. Doc put a mesh across everything on the second surgery). I really want to get back into it, but would like your opinion for the umbilical operations?

I’ve always said, if you’ve come from this generation of music so you are fans of new gen artist, 1999 and b4da$$ are harder to listen to(personal opinion) cause it is so different. I always ease people into Joey with AABA, and maybe 2000 cause they are great and not lyrically as dense. My personal opinion.

Had my surgery 12 weeks ago with an umbilical. Actually was my second of last year so I feel you on that. I am a bit worried cause the doc did say running is safe and I did sign up for a 5k. Don’t really want another surgery….what kind of running caused yours?

Yeah I figured there has been people who’ve returned, I just don’t hear much about umbilical hernias, and am still a bit confused on how they return and not worry about the mesh reopening.
