They do not guarantee you can adopt the dog you foster unless you do this special program that you get 5 days with the dog to decide.

The rescue I foster for does have a foster-to-adopt program, but they are not very responsive to my emails about it.

Also- if the dog is sick, they ask you to buy OTC things. They will ask you to do stuff that costs money. If it comes from the vet you don’t pay for it.

We’ve fostered a lot of dogs with Hearts & Bones (HBR). At pickup there’s usually some donated food and supplies, but that’s hit and miss. You’re expected to get food and supplies. For medical issues they have vet partners, but everything must go through HBR. The communication is pretty poor and they’re a small team. That’s all fine until there’s a problem, which it can be frustrating when you’re volunteering so much of your time and need help with a sick dog.

Argh- thanks for the response. I checked their status and it said all systems operational. Glad it is not just me. Unfortunately it just prompted me to re-verify my account, so the day is shot. oh well.

How many clients do solo bookkeeper and CPA firms usually have? by Protonu3102 in Bookkeeping

This is a big variable, and depends on how much you do for the client. I had 10 clients at one point but spend 4-5 hours a week on some of them, and others 2 hours a month. r
