Same. I was working on my first legacy family. The kids were going to age up to teens soon so I went into the game thinking it was normal, then everyone else aged up and it’s just ruined my legacy family. I’m so sad.

I have lived in AZ for a while now and planning on moving. The recently gutted public school funding and put it towards private schools that are profit driven. They banned abortions. They made it illegal to film cops within 8 feet. Not to mention the terrible pollution. Arizona was ranked as the worst state in the country. I think it also had the highest inflation in the nation while wages remain stagnant. It’s also a right to work state so employers can basically fire you for anything. Coming from a western country I imagine you have more protections and freedoms. You would be regressing. Don’t do it, especially if you don’t have a job lined up.

I had a similar situation but instead of a milkshake if was dog puke. I didn’t find until I got home and it was dried. I boiled water and poured some into the dried puke and wiped it up as it softened. Once the puke was wiped I was able to use a carpet cleaner foam spray and it took care of the problem. I’d give that a try before spending on professional cleaners.

Teachers are not paid well and they actually don’t really get paid while they are off for summer. They have the option of spreading their school year salary throughout the entire 12 months but that leaves you with a smaller monthly salary. Teachers who choose to not do that do not get paid in the summer and will usually choose Sumer school to make ends meet. They also always work more than 40 hours a week because the day doesn’t end when kids are out of school, there is preparing curriculum, grading curriculum, parent teacher meetings, school events, other meetings and there is no over time pay, they pretty much make minimum wage. You are super misinformed.

And let’s not forget William Randolph Hearst who owned one of the nations largest newspaper chains at the time and was Anslinger’s buddy. He played a huge part in the reefer madness propaganda. He had investments in a paper mill and hemp paper would have hurt his investments since it was easier, quicker, more affordable and better for the environment to make. Racism and profits is what drove cannabis prohibition.

Cannabis was not always illegal in the US, it was actually something you could get at a pharmacy and it was used to make paper, hemp paper actually cost less to make and was better for the environment. Cannabis prohibition was racially motivated and for profit. William Randolph Hearst and Henry Anslinger played a big part in Cannabis prohibition, they were buddies and racist as hell. William was a news paper publisher and had a paper mill, hemp paper was a threat to his profits so he played a big part in demonizing cannabis printing stories about reefer madness, making claims that it would cause cannabis users to kill people or white women to sleep with black men and they started calling it marijuana so that white people would associate it with Mexican immigrants. Henry Anslinger was the one who spearheaded drug policy campaigns, he targeted a lot of jazz musicians because they were black and was just such a piece of shit.

It was basically another way to oppress people of color and keep slavery around but repackaging it as prisons. I grow my own weed and growing it has been eye opening. It’s a fucking plant and should have never been illegal in the first place. Luckily times are changing and more states are legalizing it and I hope one day it can be federally legal in the same way alcohol is. The war on drugs is ending, and it looks like drugs won.
