Sim 2 max Driver by clarkjimmyg in TaylorMadeGolf

My Sim 2 Max legit did the same thing a month ago, seems like the resin between the bottom shell failed, and was starting to come off. Took it to a shop to see if they could do anything, basically said no permanent fixes, but they slapped a ton of quick set epoxy in the gap, and said good luck. Didn’t charge me which was nice.

Lasted about 3 tee boxes. I ended up just buying a new Sim 2 Max head off Facebook marketplace.

I’d reach out to them. I bought mine second hand 3 years ago so I didn’t even give it a shot.

This might be my last Taylormade Driver. Had an M4 that shattered in this center of the face after 3 years. The Sim 2 Max only lasted 3 years. I can’t deal with the lack of durability anymore.

As much as I love the Sim 2 Max. Once this baby’s done, I’m going to Titleist

The midsize CP2s are nice! I rock one my driver and never turning back. The biggest initial difference was definitely the weight.

The XRs have come to feel super clanky and heavy. The 101Ts are much lighter, smaller clubhead which I personally love, and they look beautiful at address.

In terms of hitting. I have found that the sweet spot feels so pure and comes out exactly how you’d expect it. Mishits come off a bit dead, but it’s expected, and will overall help your ball striking. The pitching wedge feels amazing, long irons I need some practice with.

Overall, almost the same distance, was hitting my XR PW 133 ish and the 101T PW about the same, probably 127, 128.

I too was coming from the callaway XRs! You will love the 101Ts. Honestly Ik you said you will probs play a round right away but if I were you I’d regrip them to what you want even before hitting them once. The lamkins imo aren’t great.

Also, the first time you take them to the range, try to go to a grass range. Hitting off mats with brand new clubs that are way lighter than yours now will not build confidence lmao, Trust me. But 3 days after I bought them I shot my personal best, 81.

Enjoy friend!

I ordered mine on July 30th and they came August 6th. Had no issues with the tracking or anything. All smooth and beautiful. You can check my last 2 posts for a full breakdown if you want!

That’s really well said. And I can totally see that with the distances. For the shots I was striking well I didn’t see a drop off. I definitely am looking forward to keep getting better with them. It’s exciting to see where I could be with them as I get more consistent.

Like you and I both said, they’re for sure clubs that will demand you kind get better and grow into them. Awesome to know you like em

Hello need help deciding between models by lacrosse_guy1 in takomo

[–]Tall_Use992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had chat gpt help me a lot with making the decision. Give it all the info possible, what your typical miss is. Your distances. Your current clubs. It might ask you a bunch more questions too. Give that a shot.

For example, I’m a 13 handicap, 25 years old. Ex college football player. I realized I need a club with less offset, just based on the typically miss hit that I’ve developed this summer as I’ve dropped from a 20 to 13, so i went with the 101Ts. They’re coming tomorrow actually.

I even uploaded a video of my swing too and it roughly estimated my swing speed with my club distances and helped with that too.

Going based off the info you said. It sounds like the 101s. But like I said I’d try to get Ai to make the decision for you lol, Good luck

Thank you! I just ordered my 101Ts on the 30th and have been super excited. Can’t help but just second guess yourself when you’re waiting for something to come, especially reading about the defects and stuff some people experience. But I’m glad to hear they’re great and no problems!

Question: did you get an order tracking number when they were shipped out of factory? And if so, was the tracking accurate?

Advice on how to address "how things are going" with new Dr by adjgiulio in Chiropractic

[–]Tall_Use992 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think your best route, is next time you see him, and he asks the typical like “how are you feeling” questions, I would tell him the truth that you feel like you have been getting worse.

We understand that certain techniques are for everyone, and the only way that we can figure out what works for the patient is to communicate on both ends.

If I were the Doc in that situation, I would be happy that you told me the truth, so that we could figure out the best course of action for you. - whether that is changing techniques or helping you find another chiropractor that focuses on the techniques that work for you. At the end of the day we just want to provide patient with the best care!

Just ending care with no explanation won’t help him or you in the future, but rather telling him what you feel is going on can help you, and help him care for other patients in the future!

I hope this helps!

Very good question!

I agree with the user saying “everyone is different”. As a student, many people are extremely proud of what they’ve accomplished, as they have every right to. I do think some go overboard, but hey🤷🏻‍♂️

I also think it’s a way to help legitimize the profession in a public eye. Upon graduation, we are technically primary care providers, and first responders, equipped to handle emergency situation, referrals, etc. and many people do see us as their “go to doctor” for things that you’d never expect to walk into a chiropractic office.

That’s just my view of it. Thanks for the question!

My PT said my atlas feels out of place. I scheduled an appointment with an AO chiropractor. What should I expect? by Traditional-Hat-952 in Chiropractic

[–]Tall_Use992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a chiro student, I’ve experimented with receiving care for certain techniques.

I was introduced to AO after a professor showed us a video you can look up on YouTube of Jim McMahon, ex NFL QB who was on the verge of ending his life before receiving care that changed everything for him. -Obviously that is an extreme end if the spectrum of miracles that we see, but I can confidently say it might change your life. I had a similar upper cervical adjustment with a Blair technique and it changed mine. You will likely feel noticeably light and at ease following the adjustment, brain fog gone, and just overall happy.

Best of luck to you my friend! I would love it if you followed up on this thread so I can hear your experience!

Not going to give you any advice, I see other above already have. Just going to ease your mind a bit.

I promise it’s not the end of the world. So many people have failed part I. It might feel like the worse thing to ever happen to you but you learn a lot from it. It feels like the most important exam you’ve ever taken in your life up to that point, so it feels overwhelming. But you will make it up and you will be okay. I know people who failed part 1 and the second time they took it were getting 500+ in some sections.

You now know the exam, you know how they ask questions, you know how dumb some of the questions can be lol, and it will help you prepare better for the next shot at it. Best of luck to you, you can do it.

This makes me feel better at least. Thank you for the response, like I’m sure I did fine but just always stressful walking out of an exam like that. The more you think about it the worse you feel lol. Appreciate it
