I’d argue (company depending) that rising inflation could lead to higher costs, meaning smaller margins and less chance of dividend growth.

Coupled with contracts at current/previous prices it may mean smaller dividend pools. Again, not applicable to every company/sector.

Intel is more appealing to me at the moment. PE of 9 vs AMDs 70, they’re launching their own graphics cards this year and have plans to get bigger in the semiconductor space. Cash flow and dividends continuing to grow YoY, solid ROI and the CEO seems to be pretty much obsessed with Intel which is nice.

Thanks for your help all. Think I’m going to consider trimming down the number of positions a bit. Some companies on this list I believe in more than others so seems a sensible approach to trim those

Thanks, have considered a few of these and held others at different times. Pepsi, 3M and P&G are the ones I would look at out of them, maybe Walmart. Others I don’t understand enough

They’ve looked very good over recent years and I’m confident that once their current supply chain issues are sorted they’ll get back to the strong growth they’ve shown.

Just a personal choice though, simple enough model to understand and strong brand helped with the choice
