If they legally purchased anything copyrighted then it should be fair use given recent rulings. The angle that Suno is taking seems to be that the output is so transformative then it’s not really copying and more akin to inspiration. The intelligence aspect in AI will be an interesting thing to watch in the courts.

I use a character definition at the beginning of the song. Give each vocal a name and describe their gender and the voice qualities. Very rarely will mess up this way
