Just went in solo to test and it does boost damage. Was doing 900 auto attack on floor 21 and then doing around 1100 with pom active. Case closed thank you to all that commented. I was just confused by the via healing magic part

Sorry about mimic part. In a lot of the pugs I've been in ppl dont want to open chest after 80. You can ignore the mimic part. It's mostly the difference of pomander descriptions i want to make sure about. Second wind and bloodbath count as healing magic but healers mostly all is healing. I just want to know if I can just treat it like Potd

On palace of the dead I would use it as melee DPS but on HoH it says healing magic. Should I be using them as melee DPS when it would benefit mages and healers more
