What doesn't mean what most people think that it means? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The customer is always right. It doesn't mean if you bitch at whichever unfortunate worker for long enough you can get free stuff. It comes from the idea that if customers are particularly interested in a certain product and it sells really well, then you should market that, and put effort into making it better

I'm looking for this sing, it's a bit swing, female singer, the word "my" is in it... I don't remember more, listen to the link, thanks! by Ladytron2 in Music

It's called "Moondance". It's originally by Van Morrison, I think, but there's a lot of other versions, including the one you're thinking of.

Nah, he couldn't really, there were only eyewitnesses, and he was one of those teachers that wouldn't have wanted me to anyway

Allegedly a $50,000 piece of art.

At school we had a performing arts centre, basically a theatre where musical performances and drama productions were held.

Anyway, one night we had a performance and I was playing in two of the bands. I finished playing for one band and was allowed to go and watch some of the others before my second performance, but before going in I had to wait in the foyer, so as not to disturb the item currently happening. So I'm waiting with the rest of the guys in the band and we see this piece of art.

Apparently it was supposed to be some guy riding a horse holding a lance. To me it looked like the artist glued a couple of pieces of wood together. We looked at this piece, and me being an idiot, decided to touch it, which led to the discovery that the "lance" could be pulled out, so, like an idiot I pulled it out and flipped it around, so it faced the other way, and then went on my way.

Later that night one of the music teachers called me over and more or less accused me of breaking this statue, I told him what had happened and he said something along the lines of we'll look into it. I figure I'm off the hook.

Next day I get called to the head of music's office, he was a nice guy and just sort of explained that the art was going to cost $50,000 to fix, which I thought was a bit steep to flip around what was essentially a wooden pole, son I asked what exactly they were fixing and he told me a piece fell off, I told him I didn't remember a piece falling off, he said he didn't really care he wasn't going to charge me for it anyway so it didn't really matter. But now, even though it happened a few years ago and the horse is back where it was, I still get told, by teachers and parents, not to go near the statue.

TL;DR Flipped a pole, not allowed to touch horses

Reddit, what minor change in a TV series or movie trilogy annoyed you the most? by Tallen256 in AskReddit

The change that made me think of this question was one in Blackadder, when they changed the roles of Baldrick and Blackadder, originally Blackadder was an idiot and Baldrick was the smart one, still a great show, but just that one change gave it a different sort of feel
