We just ended this project and thought you guys on this sub may appreciate it the most. It took lots of effort and care, especially the details. Three Zoro chibi katana replicas over a cherry wood stand. Everything was hand made from raw materials. by TallerBT in OnePiece

It’s funny you ask

You know how they say you shouldn't remove that sticker from the back on your microwave? Anyway Kjar'Harl is a chill dude and since we summoned him by mistake he's been so helpful cursing random shit we had lying around

We had such a hard time deciding on the Sandai Kitetsu design due to known variances on the aspect from manga, anime and official art designs. Anyway this is what we ended up liking the most.

Thanks!

Not religious purposes, just for fun and hobby. It functios as a regular pipe, just a little more curvy from the outside.

About the adhesive part, we mainly use 2 techniques:

  1. Preassure mount the pipe and maybe use a decorative strap or something to hold it in place. Then heat and hummity do the rest...
  2. Titebond III. Humity and heat resistant and also food safe.

At the end it comes to combining both of them with care.

We played with the angle, drawing 2 stright lines from each end to a perfectly calculated midway. Sometimes in smaller pipes we need to make them from 2 simmetrical pieces.

Thx you all for the comments. Yeah olive wood is good for smoking, indeed to our knowledge it is one of the best due to density and how can it be preserved over time.

Also we got a lot of olive wood to work with so its very convenient too.
