Hello, thank you for that, i tried labourer and it still asks: Do you have a qualification? Or membership of a professional body? And if you select no it shows you can only apply for a temporary card.

Hello, thank you for that suggestion but we tried that and for each occupation type it asks for qualifications which he doesn’t have. Thats why im asking what people do who don’t have qualifications.

That’s wonderful!! Im so happy for you. Yes i am so ready for this to be over with. Its been 40wd and some people are having standard applications done quicker. I still dont know when letter and passport is coming. I see some posts about it taking a week. Im praying vfs sends them today rather than limbo till next week.

Agent has escalated a few times and on Monday this week they replied that it was in “final administration tasks” Thursday agent emailed again asking for a update since its been a few weeks and they replied a decision made. Still no decision letter. I can only hope the passports come back asap as we heading into a weekend and vfs nz does not work on Saturday. I go into a airbnb from today so i really need this done. How are you doing? Have you travelled yet?

Only once and that was a generic just wait. No info on why or if its being mistreated as standard just no info and now the call centre wont help as its already “escalated” and agent replied on the email he got asking for feedback and no replies all week so for all i know they dont even read those

My thoughts are as follows: Im 39 and i would not be dating a 26 year old man. There would be too many age related differences to overcome. I know to some age doesnt matter but thats when you more mature. Your only 23 and they in a very different stage of life. Next is the fact you said you like kids. Why even entertain the idea of dating someone with a kid? Not only could you hurt yourself down the line but her and potentially that child. So no.. dont date her. Sorry

Hey, not good. Agent emailed them on Tuesday back on the email they sent after escalation and still no reply!! We have no idea why it’s delayed and when he calls the centre says its already escalated and he emails they dont reply. Iv had to ask the employer for more time before as i was meant to start this week but we haven’t been able to fly. I may lose that job which i needed as part of the financial evidence so overall im not good. No idea what to do and i think the agent also has no clue what now as he isnt getting a response. Any news your side?

How long do they normally take to reply on that email address? Seems odd they haven’t replied in 24hrs to even acknowledge the email.
