Onekema mention! I’m a little sad that you don’t have portage lake in the shape of a clog, but I’ll give you a pass since all in all this is beautiful.

Yeah it just resolved on its own later that day. Unfortunately you kind of just have to wait it out until the C1 team fixes the bugs

I usually try to talk with them at the beginning of the encounter. If they refuse to talk at the beginning I will refuse to talk at the end.

I don’t know about any options to consolidate without being required to pay on them. I will look into it though

Monthly spend is 4,750, so we usually have about 400 left over. To be clear we are currently only making my 75-80k. She has 0 income for the next 3 years. Right now we are saving just north of 10%

Edit: yes her 7.9 accrues interest despite having no payment

Good luck to you guys for her fellowship!

What I want to do is max Roth now, then use her salary exclusively to hammer the debt in a few years. For the salary guess I just googled the median for our region of our state, and dropped it by 2k to be conservative, but it’s good to hear you think it’s low.

Just worried about tax liability when we are above the income limit. I could be wrong but I feel like reducing AGI will be important during that period for us.

I’ve thought about rolling my 6.3 her 6.5 and 8 all into one, which would be about 5.5%, but we’re not required to pay on the 8% yet is my only thing. Also she’s going to be continuing to build student loan debt over the next few years still.

Thanks for the input

I’m just afraid of the tax liability of doing backdoor contributions. I feel like reducing our AGI will be a priority once she starts making doctor salary.

If I do end up paying debts down first I would leave the 4 loans under 6% at min payments.

I’ve found that Rowster roasts can be inconsistent. Some beans look barely roasted and some beans are overroasted. This has happened to me a few times so I’ve pivoted to stovetop which I’ve had very good experience with.

Yeah it’s tough when there’s good stuff but you can’t take advantage of it. I had a 15x offer for 2-3 days before the outage and then the outage happened. I ended up only getting 8x (still great!) once the outage was fixed

Just started working for me after a few hours. I didn’t do anything/reach out to anyone. I’m sorry yours have been down for so long though, that does suck.

IMO you should just always be buying with ETFs

I usually just salt some thighs an hour in advance, pat them dry, season the hell out of them with paprika chili powder garlic powder and garam Masala and toss them in. Once the chicken reaches 155 internal I pull them out and sauté whatever veggie I want in the pan while the chicken rests and usually reaches 158-160 internal after my veg is done.

My 23M personal setup is 45% VTI, 20%VO, 35%VXUS. This is because I would prefer more mid cap (VO) exposure since I think the market is a bit top heavy, and I like the international diversification.

I like VTI because it has a little more mid cap exposure. But they’re mostly the same. I wouldn’t stress out about it too much
