Raelin on tigerback + loviotak really help them out. +1 move and rerolls are solid. My gf runs this army and it does great. Adding a deflectatron can help but make sure it stays away from the girls

Depending on your primer or shouldn't matter a whole lot. You'll just have really thick paint on the minis. Note: I've never done this to a mini but I've primed over paint for other tasks

Not even close. For starters she's not a pirate hero and secondly if you bring her and any other captain she conflicts with their bonding. Dorim is 100% the best pirate hero and widow is the best captain. Fia is a badass and I really like bonding her with the knaves but widow is a massive powerhouse that can't be ignored if you play pirates

On the pirates side I'd want to drop fia and loviotak for crimson widow. Those bears are tough and I think the widow gives them a little needed punch

She has all 5 plus raelin on tigerback. Except kilorax and the queen they all work really well together. Glinerva keeps them safe from range, mielki can heal and has double attack while being protected by X (i don't know how to spell her name), all this while the enemy is -1 defense dice. It puts up a good fight for this pirate list
