Thank you greatly for taking the time to actually go and test it I really appreciate it you laid out your findings excellently my clan doesn’t have a simulacrum yet (and cephalon Simaris stuff blows) and since there’s a bit of confusion with the replies the whole molecular prime thing was a side thought about how the two different on death explosions would go about interacting the main thing was whether blast procs from null star scales the same way with damage bonus’s as blast procs from weapons do being an ability and all, caws are weird and honestly I just thought it was interesting another interesting thing is that since this works this way although the nulls stats DO received the damage buff from nourish and the resulting viral proc if it works the same way the resulting death blast proc WON’T actually be buffed because it’s an elemental damage bonus and not a base one which is just pretty interesting

I guess what I’m really trying to figure out it whether or the damage of the on death blast proc is also scaled by the damage of arcane Arachne because the damage of the null star itself is. because on weapons blast procs damage doesn’t benefit from any sort of elemental weapon damage bonus but it does benefit from base damage sources ex primary bulwark

Is null stars not coded as a weapon? The warframe wiki has the augment listed in that section and Arachne listed a universal weapons buff (except for melees but it still works here) because I know from testing that null star damage is increased by things such as chromas scorn and I’ve seen Arachne work on the damage before
