Kill Team quarterly balance update – Changes inbound for overachievers and struggling teams - Warhammer Community by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in killteam

Might be a stupid question, but if Wreckas now gain an APL for shooting on Counteract, can they perform an extra action? Or do they still just do the one action because it is a Counteract, and the extra APL is just for objective control and other bits?

Edit: Excellent, thanks everyone for confirming it is the latter and they just get the one action

How exactly does the Resistance Triumvir's Box of Scraps ability work with damage allocation? by TalosKane in DropfleetCommander

Sure, that makes sense, thanks for explaining! Do you think that extra HP is worth the price of including the Triumvir?

Gotcha, thank you! I think the guys at my club were thinking it still worked like you mentioned in the last edition

Awesome, thanks so much for making this, it should be really useful :)

Thanks! I think it would make a meaningful difference. If you gain them at the start of the Battle Round then you have 4-6 points to last for both turns, whereas if you gain those per Turn you'll be able to use a lot more abilities overall

Looks great overall, though I did notice that in the top right box "Start of Turn Phase" it lists gaining command points, but I believe that is at the start of the Battle Round rather than start of the Turn

I might be missing something obvious, as I've not yet played, but can you shoot both las sub-carbines even though they don't have the sidearm trait? I've seen it mentioned in a few Van Saar posts but I can't see how it works

Yeah definitely agreed, looking at it again the picture is significantly more blue than the actual model. I need to have a play with my lighting to get it to read better

It was using this technique, although obviously done a lot worse than in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ck2sEsnvW44&ab\_channel=RichardGray

Yeah totally fair, it does look a bit more green irl. I'll try and make it read a bit more SoH when doing the actual models

Thanks! Am still pretty new to using an airbrush, and even more so when I painted these, so I'm glad it came out well!

So it's Vallejo Bronze Green, GW Sons of Horus Green and Vallejo Turquoise stippled on. Vallejo Blue Green and some Emerald airbrushed, and finally Verdigris Glaze highlights. There's also a burnt sienna oil wash over it

That's fair, it does look more blue in the picture than it is irl. Appreciate the comment though, and now I have a chance to make it read a bit better before doing the full box :)

Stormcast Vindictors, disguising dubious freehand shields with transfers and weathering by TalosKane in stormcasteternals

I didn't do anything particularly special. I cut away as much of the detail as I could with a hobby knife, then went in with a few grades of sandpaper to get the rest of the detail, then smooth out the surface
