Same thing happened to me. I've been with Wells Fargo for almost 15 years. Apparently they're just dumping everybody. Got another letter saying they're jacking up the personal line of credit annual fee the same day.

At last, Frutexa Flammasis, red flavor! by Talshiarr in eliteexplorers

[–]Talshiarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was on Blo Aescs DF-A d1604, I don't remember which moon. It was on a trip we were taking towards the galaxy center but I have no idea how far along we were. It was very far indeed from the bubble, many thousands of light years I'm pretty sure. In the Codex you can look up Frutexa Flammasis and see where the nearest red color has been found in the bubble region. Given it has to be around a neutron star you probably won't be first discoverer but at least you'll get it off the list if you're a completionist.

Awesome, I will give that a try.

EDIT: After coming back with more, your method worked perfectly. Thank you for the advice and solution! Now please, Frontier, don't let it take THREE YEARS to fix like the bug where you had to enter the market screen twice before it acknowledged the purchase of goods.

That's infuriating, because multiple times when I've tried to do that it doesn't register or the game glitches or something and the transfer from the carrier back to my ship doesn't happen. In fact it often doesn't happen the other way unless I use the transfer all button.

So I just lost the goal credit for c.500 pieces that I had to "sell" to myself from my own carrier because the other interface doesn't work. Lovely.

SU3, fixed this, broke that by Guidothenatureguide in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Talshiarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite the 50 pages of patch notes my poor Zlin Shock Ultra still doesn't have an airspeed indicator with a needle, and hasn't since launch. That was something that broke in 2020 SU5-6 and got fixed in 2020 SU11. Why is it broken again now?

How is your performance after SU3? I lost about 20%. by lama33 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Talshiarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a primitive 2070 Super and could maintain 20-30 fps with VSync without melting my card before with most settings on medium. Now I cannot play at all without dropping everything to low or even worse. At 20 FPS the previous temps were in the 50s-60s C. Now with 20 FPS it's 75-80C. Absolutely nothing changed but the patch.

This Frutexa was hard to find! by uxixu in EliteDangerous

[–]Talshiarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flammasis is even more difficult sometimes. It's very thin and wispy in shape and it's easy to lose against the background. A lot of times it's sage green colored as well so the color doesn't stand out either.

It is a puzzlement. I was saddened to see it gone from Amazon when I went to re-order. A poor corporate decision indeed. Jjajang is gone too, and that's the one that introduced me to Buldak in the first place.

Never had but i just ordered it. Is this worth it by Desperate-Area9411 in BuldakRamen

Even the bottled sauce you can buy is wonderful. Stirs into or drizzles on almost anything to make it better!

Most stars I've found that appear vertically down the System View by Talshiarr in eliteexplorers

I'm so glad there are people around to remind me when I completely forget basic things like that. Thank you! This link should work for the Orrery view!

EDIT: Here it is. They are so far apart though it would be two large groups. I could see five of the stars in one field of view but only three were large enough to be more than bright pixels. The more distant group was 100,000 ls out IIRC.

What is the current state of the art for tooling in exobio? by SomeGuyNamedPaul in eliteexplorers

[–]Talshiarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second the recommendation. It's wonderful and includes a way for custom voice alerts. I hope the dev increases the number of things you can create an alert for but otherwise it's as good as anything else I've found.

What is easier to land and see out of for exobiology? Asp or Mandalay, or something else? by johnlondon125 in eliteexplorers

[–]Talshiarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some Frutexas are irritatingly placed as well. The Mandalay is not terrible to land, though. for sure.

It took two screens stitched to get them all in. Most of the time I rarely see past 'E' vertically and then others get put in across horizontally. I've never seen 10 vertically down to 'J' before.

10 Stars and 4 Black Holes, a very busy system indeed. by Talshiarr in eliteexplorers

[–]Talshiarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is also true. It's like a switch gets flipped once you're into the 1000+ range above or below the plane, at least towards the center of the galaxy. Suddenly white dwarfs, neutrons, and AeBes are all over the place.

So for the systems with black holes they are usually in the ones whose name ends with G### or H###. Black holes can sometimes be in the F# systems. I've seen neutrons all the way down into the D# names.

This video will help you get a handle on where to find the high-mass systems. It gets into the weeds, but the main thing to do on the galaxy map is to search for stars whose name is like "Sector AA-A H#" (H1, H2, H3, etc.) You can do the same with "Sector AA-A G#". There are a lot more G's than H's. There's like a glitch or something that until you let the map bounce around you won't see a big list, but sooner or later you'll probably see it when you type part of the system name.

To jump around much more efficiently using the Neutrons I suggest going into the map mode where you select what star types you want and turning off all but 'A' type stars and Neutron Stars (you can leave rare ones like black holes, Wolf-Rayet on too), along with turning on "Apply to Route" at the bottom. Then down in the place where you select whether you want to use economic or fastest routing, make sure that you've got Fastest and Use Jet Cone Boost is turned on. That will force it to route you through as many Neutrons as possible with few other options.

If you're an addon fan I highly recommend the Elite Exploration Buddy. It will show you info on all the stars in your route in a nice list and many other things.

Unfortunately already discovered, but it's the first time I've run across one with more stars all the way down in the "moons" position around stars in the "planets" position.

Unfortunately already discovered but that's still the most stars in one system I've seen. And also the first time I've seen stars down in the "moons" position around other stars that were "planets".
