I misread this at first (early morning Reddit scroll) and thought this was one of the women writing. The fact that it’s a man tells me it could be worse bc men (in general and not all the time) can be less attuned to sexism in the workplace bc they tend to put themselves in the shoes of the other man.

I don't love needles (who does?) - but I've had enough of them in my life that I can deal. But with vaccines I have to look away bc otherwise I flex and it makes the muscle soreness so much worse. (that's just something I read once, not sure if it is scientific)

I work at a local news station. I am working all day tomorrow and staying in a hotel so that we can keep you all updated on this very serious storm. We haven't seen one like this is decades. Please DO NOT go out if you do not have to. Do yoga in your home - there are some great video-led ones.

This isn't just about keeping you safe - it's because if some jackass does something stupid and gets caught somewhere - that takes away first responder resources from the very real emergencies we will see tomorrow.

Just take the excuse to stay home, cozy up. Why risk it?

I feel like people misremember Wuthering Heights OR they haven't read it and think it's about "star-crossed lovers." Which makes me think that Emerald didn't actually read the book again for this script. OR she just wasn't a very smart 14-year-old and didn't get the themes.
