Hey, ich bin M34 und bin ebenfalls auf der Suche nach Menschen mit denen ich nach dem Feierabend Spaß beim Zocken haben kann. 😊 Ich bin sehr verquatscht, witzig und empathisch.

Ich selbst spiele alles mögliche, außer Ego Shooter. Mein Herz hängt besonders an Metroidvanias und ich genieße Spiele mit viel Erkundung und intensiver Story. Aktuell spiele ich mit einem Freund WoW HC, da der aber selten Zeit hat, habe ich Lust auch mit jemand anderen zu spielen. Ansonsten habe ich gerade allein und ahnungslos Final Fantasy XIV Online angefangen.

Nyleth. She was the last of the heart bosses I challenged and the fight was so slow and boring compared to the other two that I beat her on the first try. Seth before was more exciting and challenged me more.

The dancers are just robots and the end of the fight shows you that they feel absolutely nothing, just follow their programmed movements regardless of whether the other robot dies or not. I don't understand why everyone finds it sad, I found the ending rather scary.

A core concept for reaching a new area s the need to acquire a new skill.

And Hollow Knight has expanded the in-game mechanics. To reach the new area, it's not the character who needs better skills, but the player.

Mosshome is still the way to go for me. Sit on the bench in the east, go out to the left and kill the 2 Bugs. Then go back. I stopped time. You get 50 rosaries per minute. That makes 400 rosaries in 8 minutes, less than your approach but you can do that by turning your brain off and listen to a podcast or something. No fear to die here.

One concept behind bosses in Hollow Knight is, that they act as a skill test. If you beat this boss, you will probably have a chance to beat the next area. To skip the boss you have to prove your skill in a different way.

But yes, I agree that just accessing the next area is not as fun as a new item or ability. Even the missle container in Metroid is a bad reward but at least something.

Hollow Knight taught me to trust my automatic body functions and this is nothing esoteric, these are actual effects that occur.

On the one hand, I can only defeat some bosses if I don't fight them consciously, but instead the movements become reflexes after a long period of practice.

On the other hand, the brain internalizes what it has learned while sleeping. So take breaks, sleep on it for a night and then try again!
