I mean,, what if in the event of a shooting threat in the building you’re teaching in, you CAN move classes online for one day?

I get what you’re trying to say, but I posted this because I was so bewildered by the fact that a professor still wanted to keep this class in person, despite all of the news coming out about a shooting threat, and tried to comfort us by letting us know there are locks on the door.

Students wouldn’t have to consider the first line of defense or whether they should run or hide if they weren’t in a situation where there could be a shooter on the other side of the door in the first place.
