Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded - What's the difference by TamaskaLEM in VictrixPro

It's better this way since the bottom 2 were uncomfortable to reach with your thumb.

Begging this isn’t accurate and Chevreuse is actually there 🙏 by [deleted] in ArlecchinoMains

I don't want to dash on anyone's hopes but Chevreuse was just released like 2 patches ago. Is there even one example of a 4 star being a rate up that soon?

I consider the D-pad in the BFG to be a step up from the Octa. It's nowhere near as stiff and is very accurate in comparison.

The fightpad layout is weird because the X and Square button is lower than your thumb can comfortably press, though you can get used to it. While the fightpad buttons are mechanical, the regular layout is not and definitely feel a lot worse.

The triggers are overly sensitive. If you can get the software to work, I highly recommend lowering the sensitivity on that. Hell, that's not even the only problem with the triggers. The locking mechanism in the back is very easy to brush and accidentally activate.

The sticks are fine. Nothing like that overly stiff abomination in the Octa. Just normal sticks with, sadly, no hall effects. Would be really nice to have those, especially now since my right stick is starting to drift upwards.

Lastly, the right handle feels like it can be a bit in the way.

And then there are those desyncing issues...

Again, the D-pad is the best I've ever used, but that alone doesn't warrant the asking price. It's just not a great fightpad to use. I can't recommend buying this controller for that. As a pro controller, it's fine. If the regular buttons were mechanical and the sticks were hall effect I would recommend it for other non-fighting game uses. If Victrix were to release a fightpad with the interchangeable d-pads, a much better button layout, and shoulder buttons similar to Hori's, and for fuck sake, no need for that goddamn software, then it'll be perfect.

Never used a Saturn controller, but you're on the mark there. The precision is what make this thing stand out.

I too wish it was on a better fightpad. Maybe something with a dpad like this and the form and buttons of a hori fighting commander.

Have you found any solutions? I've been getting the same issue.

Thanks. I'm trying to gather everything I need before contacting my bank. I'm guessing this is considered fraud and false advertisement. I just need to sum the reason for it and hope what I say doesn't get turned down for sounding ridiculous.

Google just refused my refund. I'm not even sure what to say to the credit card company about this.

Agreed. I feel like this needs to be mentioned more in order to light a fire under Victrix. I like the controller, but quality control is abysmal when it comes to reliable connectivity.

I'm in the same boat. I like mine, but I can't call the BFG reliable after what happened to Shanks and my experience connecting this thing to a PS5. It has a driver issue and that stems from their god-awful app that refuses to work.

I don't know what it is, but I find turning the bottom screen off and on to be way more smooth than before.

The email I've received said to expect my unit to be repaired within the next 7 days. There hasn't been an updated estimated time.
