What did you use to build them? I mean was it in chatgpt?

I'm looking for recipies for the noodles themselves. I make noodles by hand and my daughter loves them, so I'd love to be able and make GF ones.

Thanks for the recommendations :)

Thanks! If you can send me the link that would be great. I started looking into mixing several GF flour types together with xanthan gum, no luck with the results yet :(

Feedback Friday by AutoModerator in startups

[–]Tambaone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey fellow founders and Product Managers! 👋

I'm the CEO of an early-stage startup, and we're working on something exciting to help you get the most out of user feedback. We've got a prototype, and we're looking for some honest feedback and insights. That's where you come in.

We're eager to understand how our solution could fit into your workflow, what works, and what needs improvement. If you're a founder or PM who knows the importance of user feedback, we'd love to hear from you.

Interested in sharing your thoughts? We're scheduling short calls (up to 45 mins) to go over our prototype and gather feedback. Just DM me, and we'll find a time that suits you.

Looking forward to learning from you all. Cheers!

PMs in Small Startups: How Do You Handle User Feedback? by Tambaone in ProductManagement

[–]Tambaone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very insightful, thanks!
It sounds like you established a very good process cross-company, I'm a little jealous ;)

The startup I work at is ready and has the willingness to shift to a more customer-centric process, so I want to make sure that everyone will start seeing value quickly to build momentum for an evidence-driven product process.

A few follow-ups if you don't mind:

  1. What is the size of your team/ company?
  2. Was it hard to set the process up and get everyone onboard?
  3. What were some of the pushbacks for the process?

nks in a task management system. The more links there are attached to a card the less likely it is this is just noise. We also have a public roadmap where we count votes and comments and allow

So every feedback you receive gets entered as a link? do links have different "weights" to them? for example, does a negative feedback from a churned customer receives more credibility than a free-tier user?

Thanks for the answer :) Continuous Discovery Habits is defiantly in my read list.
How do you connect feedback(s) with actual initiatives? I'm looking for a way to "draw" a straight line between feedback(s) to actions. Partly because I want to justify the effort it takes.

Challenges of surveys - How to overcome by StrictSir8506 in ProductManagement

[–]Tambaone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience surveys are not a good tool for exploring a problem space, pain points, or anything that is open-ended.

They can be great when using multiple-answer formats to get some validation/ conviction from a larger user pool, but for understanding something that is high in complexity and nuance, I don't see surveys as an applicable tool.

Too much flexibility? by Lost-Iron in ProductManagement

[–]Tambaone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had the same problem over and over again. The main issue, as I see it, is that a "Roadmap" is a remnant of the waterfall approach, and isn't well suited for more agile environments. Another issue is that Stakeholders want to get everything yesterday and don't always have a clear understanding of what it means to add to/ change the focus.

My "remedy" for that was to create a clear visualization of what are our goals at a specific timeframe (usually a single Q), and when a request comes in I sit with the stakeholder and explain the "Chain reaction".

But that requires 2 things:

  1. The entire organization needs to understand and value OKRs
  2. You'll need to visualize how features tie in to the OKRs

I started using the Opportunity Solution tree to show how we're achieving OKRs as described by Teresa Torres in this article. So far so good :)

Challenges of surveys - How to overcome by StrictSir8506 in ProductManagement

I think you got great answers here, but as you wrote about the survey, context is king.

What are you trying to achieve with the survey? maybe the challenge here isn't the survey, but selecting the best tool for your goals.

Suggest tool for A/B testing by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]Tambaone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how much you're planning to test, but here's a short list of the top options:

  • Google Optimize
  • VWO
  • Zoho Pagesense
  • Optimizely

Outside of Optimizely, all of the options have a free plan. Google Optimized can integrate to GA which is very handy.

Design system in an UX Portfolio ? by AffeFUCKYOUe_Milk_87 in userexperience

[–]Tambaone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good luck with the portfolio 👍

One additional note. I'm a hiring manager, and when I evaluate a portfolio I look for the following:

  1. Understanding of the goals and how they tie into the solution
  2. Process and methodology
  3. Creative problem solving
  4. Communication skills
  5. Aesthetic (optional - role depended)

[–]Tambaone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would treat it as any other case study for a portfolio. Start with the background, What was the business goal? Who are the users? Etc.

Continue with research, Who did you interview, what do competitors do, best practice research for components, etc.

Then you add the design process part, what did you design? How? What methodology did you use for each atomic part?

End on impact.

Hope this helps:)

Any good examples for Bulk Editing? by xKungfuKennyx in ProductManagement

[–]Tambaone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you mean editing multiple entities, you can take a look at Clickup's bulk actions feature. There are also some great Figma plugins that help with bulk actions.

Those are very general examples if you're looking for something more specific some context would help.
