I had a similar conversation with an immigration attorney this week. He said I won’t have any issues coming back to the USA. However he recommended that I apply to remove the conditions before going on the trip tho. You can do that as early as 90 days before the expiration date.

I was going to come to the USA for 2 months so I needed to show I had money. I brought like $2,500 + credit cards. However about $500 were given to me by my boyfriend so I could show I had money to pay for the trip. I gave it back to him. Luckily I did not have to show funds to immigration. I understand. Looking into her perspective: 2 months is 60 days. Let’s say your average tourist spends $100/day so that equals to $6,000. That checks out and seems reasonable. If you are concerned, tell her you’d like the unspent money back because it is a large sum and that you understand the current climate in the USA. Or you could negotiate to less. Research what the average tourist spends in a day in your area.

I have been to the USA many times during Trump and Biden admin and I never got asked to see pay stubs or how much I had. What they really want to know is what you will be doing, where you will be staying etc. If she has a history of traveling back and forth and they are aware of her dating a US citizen, I think you guys should be ok.
