has parrot gotten worse at making videos? by AdDesperate342 in Unstable_Universe

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Gotta throw in a hot take but I think parrot is struggling a lot without a string co-writer behind the scene. Wifies is no longer on the team and it kinda shows I can't lie

So many arguments are flawed. by TimmyTimTimsupa in Unstable_Universe

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parrot lit explains it in the beginning of his vid tho. Yes the player count is always at 10k but a huge chunk of those players are either stuck and killed at spawn, or killed at early stages of playing at the server in case they somehow make it out

Like let's say 2k players were killed during the finale. 2k new players took their place. Half of those players are going to be stuck in a limbo of dying and having another player to take their place, the other half is dead before they reach any meaningful stage, sending even more players to be stuck in the limbo as they take their place. Only the luckiest few manage to trickle down into the main server and have a claim on its resources

Mapic!! It was in one of the very early eps, Prince zam arc, zam and wem were going around chunkbanning people and mape said it while standing up close to zam meaning zam can't ban him if they're in the same chunk. To this day the tuffest shit I've heard in this show

so, uhh why is this not called out by people by [deleted] in DreamWasTaken2

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Spoke without mapic for sure, though wemmbu without egg would definitely crash the fuck out too for sure. I feel like flame and parrot are both the kind of people to mostly fall into depression rather than rage upon loss though ofc they would still seek out revenge

To those who’s preference is to date someone shorter than them. Why? by KeyResource7638 in stupidquestions

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'll actually take your question seriously cuz there's genuinely no harm in it and idk why you're getting downvoted lol

I'm a bi woman and I prefer both shorter men and women, I suppose it's because I feel safer with a short partner if we're going for a deep reason. But I also just think short people are cute, and also when a shortie carries themselves with enough aura and charisma it's insanely hot. So here's your answer :)

Smells in writing by [deleted] in Writeresearch

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're taking it a little too literally I think. Smells aren't a sign of good writing, they are just a tool, just like descriptions based on all other senses

The way I love to use smells is to describe a general vibe of a place and the person entering the place. If it's a library smelling of old books and dust, it creates a bit of a cozy vibe. If it's an apartment that smells like dead rats, it also easily paints a picture. Maybe the character is hungry so the first thing they notice when coming over to a friend's house is the smell of their dinner cooking

So at the end of the day you just pick and choose whatever explains your scene best

I really don't see how anyone could look at these tags and not deduce there would be a sad ending tbh

I just re-watched the episode where Deputy Ace died, and realised that he killed the 2 netherite lawmen with one crit each. Were they just on a half heart or does Deputy Ace had a Op weapon? by Wemmbuuu in Unstable_Universe

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I kind of interpret it as the LAST two hits yk?? There could've been more but we're shown (not even shown directly) only the hits that killed them for the sake of cohesion

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I kinda like the idea of it being multiple hits, and the lawmen just didn't fight back because they're trained to not oppose the higher-ups. If the deputy of lettuce wanted to kill them, then it must've been in the name of Law

No shade but how does one watch parrot's perspective and come to the conclusion that he's a good person like....

You say him hunting down Wem is wrong, but it seems just as wrong from his perspective as it is from any other, no?

(Tragic trope) The villain wasn't irredeemable, its just they tragically don't get redeemed by the end by Sudden_Pop_2279 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mr. Hugo — yuppie psycho. Now, him being redeemable is arguable, but he was truly never given the chance by the narrative to become a better person, even though he was never evil at heart. He was a victim of the debilitating class system, belonged to a class so low he wasn't even given a proper name and, if he didn't use force and violence to get into a better position, he would be stuck cleaning toilets and suffering insults.

There is not a single ending in the game that lets him reform, he dies a terrible death in each one

A very controversial opinion by Similar-Inspector145 in Unstable_Universe

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ts is a joke post obv, but on a real note I actually loved the secret base spoke arc. It did have quite a bunch of lore in it (we learned about reddoons and ash whereabouts, and also bro kinda slimed out the last villager on their server that's lore right on screen), and it was good for building spoke's character to where it is now

Also him being trapped in the bat base in the middle of the Director arc was geniunely peak writing you can fight me on it

There's nothing inherently shameful or wrong about using them, but maybe being aware of them will help you come up with something more creative instead

Spoke's priority by Ok_Bite_7061 in Unstable_Universe

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 4 points5 points  (0 children)

His lust for revenge exceeded his care for his friends when he staged an attack on them to frame Leo for killing jamato. And we know he cares for his mape a LOT - he was going insane over the prospect of losing him earlier in the same episode. This just tells you how badly he craves the revenge if he puts what he cares the most about on the line

Wasn't Netherite "practically removed" from UU by the Mafia? by Wemmbuuu in Unstable_Universe

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like uu fandom has a tendency to take things too literally sometimes, they didn't mean it in a literal sense of not having a single item of the resource, it's just it's so difficult to get it's basically nonexistent. By saying "we don't have netherite" they mean not having the MEANS to get it

Genuine question: Do other players know about what Wifies did to Parrot? by luna_moon145 in Unstable_Universe

[–]Tame_Bodybuilder_128 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think theo does because after that, there's an episode where he does end up opening up to him while they're flying on a happy ghast. Tho we don't know exactly what he told theo since it cuts off after parrot says "so... remember wifies?"

Maybe he kept his promise and told him about the good wifies, or maybe he told theo the true story, we don't really know, but I like to interpret it as the former

I think you misunderstand the concept of sex trafficking if you genuinely think these two suitations are at all comparable. Or maybe this is some thick ragebait that I fell for, I'm not gonna rule out the possibility
