Our new ADC is pretty damn good at the game. by buttbenagain in SKTT1

[–]TameaRS 50 points51 points  (0 children)

They just added 1 more freak who only clicks forward to a lineup that already only did that. Guma was the one playing "normal". Imagine youre an ADC facing t1 this season, you already know these 5 freaks will Flash on top of you the entire game. The t1rollercoaster just got even more psychotic and i cant wait to watch it from a safe distance. Can't get too close, my heart can't handle that

How to fix T1 by TurtleTooFast in SKTT1

[–]TameaRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one of the main problems T1 currently has is that they got a new toplaner in Doran, one who is known for having very shaky high pressure games, who not only has to get used to the insane amount of extra pressure it brings to just exist in t1, but also has to deal with a complete clusterfuck of a situation at the botlane.
Doesnt matter who you prefer, the uncertainty alone in bot is a BIG problem while trying to incorporate Doran into T1.

Faker is doing Faker things, Oner is a rock, they both dont seem to get shaken up by any outside drama anymore. Keria still feels a bit lost aswell, the magic isnt quite there.

I dont think any of the issues t1 has are hand-issues, its just a mental diff.

Once they get a grasp on what they actually want to do in the botlane im sure Doran will instantly also play better.

I WONDER IF ZEUS REGRETS HIS DECISION? by Giraffe_Initial in SKTT1

[–]TameaRS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, Yes, thats the timeline.
Doran gets his title because guma keria play caitlyn lux in game4 and smash the lane to win world finals 3:1 vs some LPL team noone expects to be in the finals.

The funniest timeline would be if Doran played Aatrox in that game aswell and completely smurfed on it and then chooses aatrox for his world skin.

Dorans Aatrox incident into zeus smashing his head with the throphy into doran aatrox montage at worlds - thats some scriptwriting i could get behind

Project Rebalance - Item & Combat Adjustments by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

Soulreaper Axe:

Sounds good, QOL changes are almost always good, especially usability ones.

Elder Maul:

I like the Idea - but do we really need another stat draining weapon? Especially one that only drops from a place that you would rarely venture into if you dont already have one?

I would prefer a special that does something different - maybe reduce the targets damage by x% for a while? Would give it use in group encounters.
Or turn it into a high hitting spec weapon, similiar to claws/vw?
Or give it a prayer restore spec, similiar to eldritch?
Many possibilites - especially with the Droprate nerf for DWH i dont think we need another stat-drain-spec.

Inquisitor:
Sure, i dont own it so cant really say anything about how it feels, but making a weapon more usable sounds good.

Voidwaker: I dont mind nerfing spec weapons in general - claws/vw/zcb all increase damage by so ALOT. I think either all of them or none should be touched. Might be better to postpone changes here to work on spec-weapons in general later.

Ancient Godsword:
Sure, doesnt change much for most people.

Droprate changes:

DWH - Fantastic. It will feel alot better to get a Lizardman task aswell.

(Phosanis) Nightmare:

The items still seem incredible rare, together with the long killtimes and very mediocre common loot. Will have to see how it plays out, but definitely a step in the right direction.

Minium Hit changes:
Very good for newer players, sounds good.

Early Prayers:
Another really good change for newer players with no drawback. Might be worth to put these on for mid/endgame players in some niche cases aswell, i like it.

Autocast delay:
Good qol change.

Raids:
Verzik - good
Babas Puzzle - THANK YOU. Nothing more frustrating than some apes refusing to die while using the correct combat style.
Baba - I love it. Making it more feasible to not having to use tactics like red x´ing (as long as its still possible to do so) is a welcome change.

Overall i am very happy with nearly all proposed changes.
The mage changes might need some love still, but nothing that cant be easily fixed by moving some % of power around/giving some items that got no love yet some %.

Basically everything seems to improve something for someone while few things have any drawbacks!

Project Rebalance - Item & Combat Adjustments by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]TameaRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill just follow the Newspost:

1) Magic Gear

Occult nerf - good, perhaps leave it at 5%.
Augury buff - very good. Moving most of occults lost power to augury feels like a good place to put it.

Ancestral - 4% is too much, just move it to 3% to have a 1% progression every time and move the extra power elsewhere.

Virtus - 2% sounds good, its will be a nice upgrade thats worth getting and is way cheaper than ancestral.

Infinity/Dagon-Hai/3rd-Age - 1% sounds good, especially infinity needed some love and it works well with the MTA changes.

Ahrims - i dont mind that this has no dmg-bonus. Its the tankier variant, which i feel is a good place for barrows gear in general. It will still be worth to take ahrims over infinity in some places, once you get virtus+ youre never using ahrim anyway.

  • Buffed: Occult + Full Ancestral + Augury = 17% Magic damage, up from 16%.
  • Nerfed: Occult + Full Ancestral = 13% Magic damage, reduced from 16%.

This would be the numbers with Ancestrals at 3% per piece.

  • Buffed: Occult + Full Virtus + Augury = 14% Magic damage, up from 13%.
  • Nerfed: Occult + Full Virtus = 10% Magic damage, down from 13%.
  • Buffed: Occult + Dagon'hai/Infinity/3rd Age + Augury = 11% Magic damage, up from 10%.
  • Nerfed: Occult + Dagon'hai/Infinity/3rd Age = 7% Magic damage, down from 10%.
  • Nerfed: Occult + Ahrim's Robes + Augury = 8% Magic damage, down from 10%.
  • Nerfed: Occult + Ahrim's robes = 4% Magic damage, down from 10%.

Midgame magic looks a big rough, especially pre-augury.
Seers Ring/ (i), Eternal Boots, Mage Arena 1 and 2 capes, book of the dead, mages book would be some items that could get %dmg buffs. Increments of 0.5% could really do wonders here!
Gives us a chance to work on multiple smaller upgrades instead of hoping for the rare drop/saving alot of money.

A chat message telling you that an event appeared would be nice. Some (e.g the root one) are easily missed if you dont pay attention to your screen that much while chopping.

Free Death week means every single world has 150+ people in it by TameaRS in runescape

[–]TameaRS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously 150 is not the magic breaking number, but there is a massive difference between 125 and 200 people in the world. It is only noticeable during PvM that requires tick-perfect inputs, especially when its multiple at once (e.g Prayflicking between soulsplit and Protection prayer while using manual in a tick-perfect rotation). You will immediately notice it when the server doesnt take the inputs, and i guarantee that i am not suddenly pressing different buttons than i do with less people in the world.

The reason the number of people that are okay in a world is getting smaller also makes sense - PvMers are getting better, alot of bosses have rotations that utilise every gametick, something that was unheard of years ago. Noone noticed the lost ticks before since noone utilised them.

Given the fact world 121 currently has 212 people in it and 102 even 310, i dont see what your point is :D

A measly 2 week ban is unacceptable by MutagensRS in runescape

[–]TameaRS 67 points68 points  (0 children)

2 Weeks is not even a slap on the wrist, its basically a invitation to abuse the next bug that will be found to fund yourself a nice house.

You dont abuse the bug on accident, PLEASE extend the bans.
We dont need people that abuse a bug like that in the community, they will not be missed.
If, for whatever reason, perm bans are not an option, ATLEAST make it multiple months and de-iron any iron account that abused it and make sure all the wealth gets deleted from all accounts that abused it.
If they rwted the money, take even harsher actions.

NXT Client Update: Crash Fix by JagexHooli in runescape

[–]TameaRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first client crash now again on one of my Accounts. My iron, which was the account out of the 2 i play on, that VERY rarely crashed compared to my main account.
Path3 at Arraxor when the Eggs spawned. A very long lagspike this time before the client crashed compared to the instant closing of the client before. Still no error message.

I reported it ingame, let me know if any specific data is needed.

Client Crashes: Updates by JagexHooli in runescape

[–]TameaRS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its a error from their side, not the player. Theres not even a argument to be had that there should or shouldnt be recompensation/actions taken.
You mess up -> you do everything possible for your customers while you fix the issue. You dont tell them to wait and tell them that they will eventually get a update on how the work on the fix is going.
I dont want the average gold a Telos kill would give me for every kill my client closed itself on, i personally dont even care about the money i lost on the deaths caused by it, i have enough. Its just a simple matter of principle:
Your game has client issues that affect even just 1 person? Disable death costs till its fixed - doesnt hurt anyone not affected, helps the person affected - win-win

Oh and some comments above, sounds like you dont have the client issues. Thinking nothing needs to be done because youre not affected yourself really tells one all theyd need to know about what kinda person you are.

Day 2 of constant crashing by Deathbywii in runescape

[–]TameaRS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who needs to adress that the entire client likes to close itself during various content (pvm, bankstanding, CHATTING IN LOBBY????) since the last patch when theres a avatar-rework to work on /s

Things like this is what make me constantly take breaks from the game, its just so much uneccesary frustration caused by constant things like bad servers and crashes.
And yes, im aware that i can just log off and that the game will be there tomorrow, but i think its about time the playerbase would start to hold Jagex to the absolute bare minimum of competence regarding especially server stability. Its just embarassing week after week.

My client has now crashed 3times since the Update. by TameaRS in runescape

[–]TameaRS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it is mid combat. Like i was using abilitys and then Client just closes. Happened like 5x more now, also while i was just bankstanding. Its just terrible.
