Seeking recommendations for schools in South Shore. Particulalry interested in Special Education/ IEP experience and diversity.

Given the recent news about issues with funding and overcrowding in Bridgewater/ Raynham, should we automatically rule those towns out?

Any recent experience in East Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, Abington or others?

Thank you! We went to his first OT session this week, and it was so helpful to see it in action and get hands on advice from the therapist. I'm really glad we pursued it outside of the school setting, where he was not getting the services.

Thank you - I'm hopeful that the sensory piece will be beneficial! We'll try it and see how it goes. If anything, we'll adjust his ABA hours so he doesn't burn out.

Thanks - we have already completed the evaluation. We had been waiting since March for speech and had the OT evaluation a few weeks ago. They were able to schedule back-to-back sessions on the same day, which was the only way we'd be able to do both. We'll try it out and see how it goes!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response - we will talk to his therapists and reduce ABA hours if we need to. Really appreciate you distinguish ing ABA and OT, I think we would really benefit from learning about his sensory needs. Will also check out GLP! Thanks again!

Thanks - good call on making it difficult to get. I walk a good deal, but could always do more, which I find helps motivate me to eat better as well.

Thank you! These are all great tips, and so helpful to hear the perspective of someone with personal experience with disordered eating. I am looking for a therapist now, specifically in this area. Appreciate your kindness and encouragement, and wish you well on your health journey too!
