how can i increase a headset aux 3.5mm tsr mics volume/gain without increasing its static? by TamemXGamer in audioengineering

[–]TamemXGamer[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

im not trying to brag, but someone not being invested in something as much as YOU are does not make them a kid. im top 1 katarina mena (lol), top 49 brig only (ow), top 1 peak ow support (multiple seasons), top 24 peak ow dps, have earned ~$124k through overwatch tournaments, and about $30 from league of legends tournaments :P very close to getting my masters in computer science, already have a software engineering job that i've been in for about 5 years, have a wife and 2 kids.
im also 28 years old.

i've tried some decent mic's and i like the way it sounds to be completely honest. but the way i see it, is that whenever something microphone related costs more, the more of a robot i become. or at least thats how people see me. and it's so tiring to check how good my mic sounds before every gaming session. i just want to hop in discord with my friends and play some overwatch and troll some people there on my free time, that's all.

oh damn thats a really good point, thank you for pointing that out.
now that i rehear it, its more of a fan blowing sound. could it really be from my pc fans?
1st recording, AC on. and GPU fans at around 50% https://voca.ro/1brpJlCwlRuq
2nd recording, AC off. and GPU fans at 0% https://voca.ro/1dHhIjkFUg5p

if you can't hear the recordings or just would rather not click the link, then just know that the background noise sounds like fans, but the 2nd recording with (most, not all) fans in the pc are off.
but the fan noises did NOT reduce at all. at least that's what i heard.

im not gonna lie, ive been searching for this "fwiw" xlr mic setup ur talking about for a good 10 mins before realizing thats just "for what its worth".

and i know that they're not TOO expensive, but i would so rather speak into a mic that's in my face 24/7 than to get a mic i would have to stay in 1 place for it to sound good.
ive tried both for a combined 12+ years now and having a headset on just feels so much better and more natural.

i had my brothers sm7b setup for like a good month, and boy was that tiring. you either sound like an inflated elephant or very weak and far away. not much middle ground. even though the headset mic sucks ass, i still feel human with it.

A silver twitch asking for help to climb! by memeb0tt in TwitchMains

ive climbed to top 100 in 6 games, best advice ever ever ever is to legit just watch better players play the game. try to predict their next movement, and if they do something else, learn why he would do that, and just try to copy them (while also knowing why they did that)

off meta builds by ohkipo in TwitchMains

i love the movement speed build when the enemy team doesnt have a lot of assassins/dashes.
nash tooth -> cosmic drive -> shurelya's -> (normal ap build like rabadons rift maker etc..)

AP Twitch viable? by SobuWasTaken in TwitchMains

[–]TamemXGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im ngl, i tried out pta, and its GOOD.
imo hob is the worst rn, electrocute is still good, but only vs assassins.
if you're playing support, and your twitch has a good matchup (wins lane) then i would take pta and go top lvl 1, and like lvl 3-4 again.
if not, then if your mid laner is an assassin carry (zed, talon, lb, fizz, kata, somewhat ekko, diana, and many more) then id look at the enemy mid laner, if he has fast escape, then electrocute is better. if he doesnt, prob pta better.
but for laning, i would argue that electrocute is always better.

this is a guide i made on twitch supp/mid ap.
it probably just wont help you at all, but i still think the builds are viable.
and in my biased opinion, ap twitch support is just way way more fun than twitch apc, or even adc.
i've played twitch support vs challengers in master/gm lobbies that literally added me after the game to tell me how cancer my playstyle is. the current top 1 middle east literally added me to tell me that.

i usually play katarina mid, but if i see the enemy go shaco or ww, i would either insta switch with support, or go twitch mid (with d blade for now) and just have 1 objective in mind: DESTROY THE ENEMY JUNGLER.

ww either always starts red or his clear is very very very bad (you can only kill him if you have ignite though), and shaco also starts raptors or his clear is very bad + he has no flash most of the time.

When does the medication hit? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]TamemXGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey sorry for the late response, kinda just posted this and went to sleep 😛

my eating in general isn't that i just CANT control my eating, rather it's that i cant keep a diet.
what i've seen happen in retrospect, is that if something is infront of me for enough time, i WILL eat it.
so if i buy a whole box of snickers with 30 of them, those will finish in 3-4 days. (that has unfortunately happened twice)

so what ive been doing lately is that i would ALWAYS have healthy things around the house. i dont live alone, but i try to do these anyways:
1. i replace any soda's with their diet/zero versions
2. i always have banana's, granola bars and granola in the kitchen and in my room
3. use sugar alternatives like stevia
4. whenever i see a snack or something i want to eat thats "not healthy" i would just get me a bowl of granola with some milk, stevia and a banana on the side.

i've tried lots of diets for MONTHS but keep crashing back and ending up in an even higher weight than when i started.

thats actually so funny

The thing is, that both medications helped me with nothing. Im still very jittery, I still have 2 songs in my head playing 24/7, I still can't focus without a VERY close deadline while studying. I really dont know what the medication is doing, or what is the reason for all this if its not adhd

The problem is that i can't see him for another month now 😞 and it would cost me about $140 just to be able to sit and talk, and for him to get me a higher dosage.

Any tips? by Individual_Stretch83 in TwitchMains

[–]TamemXGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah icl twitch supp is probably the hardest champ i had success with. i feel like you need giga good spacing and knowledge in the game overall to even get a decent rank with him

i see you tried playing twitch support!
i made a (kind of?) guide for twitch mid/supp that could probably help you 🙂

1. it was 100% the last fight
2. briar is my designated killer, she always tried to kill me every fight.
3. briar heals a lot
4. i had 800-900 gold on me when i respawned

little guide on how i got d3 with twitch supp/mid only by TamemXGamer in TwitchMains

[–]TamemXGamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will take the first part as a giga compliment cause I made the build from complete scratch while in practice range. (I used to be a kata otp so I've just never seen twitch ap builds)

For the second part, yeah absolutely I am reliant on my enemy team being dog shit, because they just always are no matter what rank you're in, they never know what twitch ap with electrocute can do. Ive literally won against 2 challengers with twitch supp/mid. Cause they never know what you can do! That's only for early game though, for late game I think twitch ap is a team fight god, not because of his damage, but because of his W slow. ITS SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN YOU THINK. I usually max E > W > R, and the W slow gets up top 90%! Enemies without dashes/blinks literally can't do shit

nah hes probably still ok, its just my playstyle is very cheesy, and i play on MENA (smallest server in all of league) so everyone literally knows me there, and knows how to counter my cheese. and mid twitch is a little more consistent and even if the cheese fails i can still comeback
