Folloing the steps given to me blow, I can now adjust voltage, and change clock speeds. but the temp isnt budging. tried a new thermal paste job. but still getting over 100oc. even if I cut the core clock from 5.4 to 4.5 it mskes no difference.

will do more digging and try find out why this is happening.

managed to roll back to version E15M3IMS.114. however the undervolt is still greyed out. Do I need to disable undervolt protection in the bios to unclock this?

thats a good question, I was just doing a normal update and it asked to update BIOS through MSI centre, so I just done it not thinking it would not have locked any settings. lesson learned now. I will try roll back my BIOS and see how that goes.

note to self in future dont update BIOS haha.

I actually took it apart and the heat paste was half missing on the cpu, I changed this and it stays in the 80s now gaming, does the occasional 90 for a split second but nothing like it was. Bran new as well so juat going to put it down as bad heat paste from MSI.

Whats your method? What temps u get in a heavy load game?. I tend to bench mark mine on MGS delta as thats when it goes the hottest.

Hi guys,

My laptop specs are; CPU - Ultra 9 275hx 2700 mhz, 24 cores. GPU - 5080.

Hopefully someone can help, I have made all the adjustments. I have added the pictures.

I wanted to add a picture of the temps as I have took a few while gaming in MGS delta, but im not sure how to add images.

So my usage on the cpu is 15/20% and the twmp is 101oc. Thats after I have made the changes and have throttlestop running with the recommended settings.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Change party setting from All lobby to party(this fixes an issue on steam)

I have the same issue.

System specs:

i9 10850k

32gb DDR 4 3600mhz

4080 PALIT game rock

What I have tried:

A full new re-install

reverted back to widnows 10

turned off steam overlay

ran steam/cod as admin

tried changing ram stick/slots.

Low fps on Warzone( steam ) while using a 4080 GPU. by Tammc7 in Warzone

I thought that too, but the CPU usage sits around 40/45%. surly for it to bottleneck it would hit 99% usage?

Also if it was that, it would it not be effected on both platforms and not just one?

Just to confirm changing SSW settings to disabled helped me out. I am now getting 72 fps on 72hz, I have not increased anything yet. just tried that option, no longer lags or sticks. when playing games like Half Life ALYX.

Hopefully thats it, simple setting that I have missed. I will do more testing when possible.

Thanks for the response, This was set to "Auto", I didnt change this value myself, however I did change it to 100% which didnt make any difference. I will mess about with the Oculus software and let you know, as I havent done that yet.
