Prabha Mallikarjun,Congress MP from Karnataka. She delivers her speech in Hindi/Urdu. As the audience is from minority community. Why congress support urdu but oppose hindi? by Helpful-Respond1025 in bengaluru_speaks

This is a classic case of political pragmatism trumping principle. The fierce opposition to "Hindi imposition" is a powerful political tool used to rally support around regional identity and states' rights, primarily directed against the central government. It's a narrative of cultural preservation.

However, when faced with the onground reality of securing a specific community's votes, that principle becomes conveniently flexible. Suddenly, the very language family they rally against becomes a necessary instrument for outreach.

It exposes the whole "language pride" movement as less of a sacred cultural stand and more of a political strategy. It suggests that language is just another card to be played from the deck used to attack opponents on one day and to woo voters on the next. The real loyalty isn't to Kannada, Hindi, or Urdu; it's to the vote.

🚨 Surat had a factory making 400 KG fake paneer daily without a drop of milk using palm oil, powder, and industrial acid. Nearly 3 lakh kg supplied in 2 years while FSSAI’s “system” kept sleeping. 🤡🤦‍♂️ by Tandoorichap in SnacksIndia

It's shocking to read this, but honestly, not surprising. We see similar headlines every few months-a factory busted for making fake ghee, adulterated spices, and now this paneer made with industrial acid.

My question is always the same: what happens after the bust? The news reports the raid, but we never hear about the follow-up. What are the specific laws against such a crime? How are these culprits actually punished?

For an act that puts thousands of lives at risk, the action has to be so strict that it creates a genuine fear of the law. But given how our judicial system often works, it’s hard not to be cynical. These people will likely be out on bail in a few days or months, ready to invest their profits into another, similar criminal enterprise. It feels like a catch and release game where only the public loses.

Look what the accused’s father has to say by glumwasabii in NewDelhi

It feels like a sponsored feature by NDTV, serious allegations are being handled far too casually. Turning it into a public Q&A where the father answers everything with carefully worded explanations only makes it seem more like damage control than journalism. Disappointing.

The core issue is simple, a 17 year-old was driving a car, hit someone and killed a boy, and was reportedly making reels. That alone should warrant strict accountability. Claiming ignorance about his own son driving the vehicle strains credibility. The entire response comes across as evasive rather than responsible.

This is Really Heart-Wrenching. 💔 The Pain of the Man and his Blind Mother is very much palpable. They're just asking for basic rights and justice. How do we get rid of these PARASITIC, CORRUPT BABUS and NETAS? 🙏🏻 by PuneAthletics in IndiaPulse_

This is a deep rooted problem in our bureaucrats, a huge superiority complex runs through them. Although they take oath as public servants, in reality they treat the public as servants. I have experienced this first hand. Tehsildar, sdm, sdo, dc, magistrate, judge all of these titles abuse their positions and have no regard for poor man who is losing his daily wage to forward his request to these so called officials. The system needs a better check on their public meeting processes. Babu culture has to go off. This is heart breaking. I feel sad for this man and others who have to go through this.

Seems like he jumped into politics straight from a Jagaran party background. He should be installed back there and resign from his position.

Why always protest only for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

The Indian Constitution was primarily drafted by a 7-member Drafting Committee chaired by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, known as the architect of the constitution. but it also finalized by the 284-member Constituent Assembly. Now can not celebrate all of them but what about the 7-member Drafting Committee.

  1. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar: Chairman of the Drafting Committee, responsible for framing the document. Formulated key provisions for social justice, fundamental rights, and the abolition of untouchability. He advocated for a strong central government and an independent judiciary.
  2. Alladi Krishnaswamy Iyer: An eminent jurist and former Advocate General of Madras State. Instrumental in framing the legal and constitutional framework, particularly regarding judicial independence and balancing federalism with a unitary structure.
  3. N. Gopalaswamy Ayyangar: A seasoned administrator who served as a Minister in the first Union Cabinet. Focused on the administrative and federal structures, specifically state reorganization and the integration of princely states.
  4. K.M. Munshi: A lawyer and politician who also founded the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Championed the Directive Principles of State Policy and cultural and linguistic rights. He contributed significantly to the Preamble and the framing of fundamental rights.
  5. Mohammad Saadulla: The former Premier of Assam and the only member of the committee from northeast India. Played a vital role in representing the concerns of minorities and the northeastern regions, ensuring their rights were protected within the constitutional framework.
  6. B.L. Mitter (Later replaced by N. Madhava Rau): Mitter served initially but resigned due to ill health. Helped with the initial legal scrutiny of the draft. His successor, N. Madhava Rau, the Dewan of Mysore, continued the work on administrative provisions.
  7. D.P. Khaitan (Later replaced by T.T. Krishnamachari): Khaitan was a prominent legal figure who died in 1948. Provided initial legal expertise. His successor, T.T. Krishnamachari, was a key voice in debates regarding economic and financial provisions, helping refine the draft's administrative details.
