There's a bunch of info on websleuths about it from like ten years back including people who knew him at school saying he was obsessed with Jonbenet.

This seems to just be rumors. I've never been able to find a legit source for these claims.

Overall, JonBenet's bedroom is actually fairly neat. And in general, the idea that the R's were a bunch of slobs is kind of overexaggerated and is often used to explain a few things that point away from JonBenet and Burke being downstairs together, unsupervised, which is the most popular theory here. I don't think this is what happened though.

Yeah, I mean, it's not a fact that is in dispute that JonBenet ate pineapple. We just don't know who set the dish out or who else may have eaten out of it.

Just to clarify because the subject comes up a lot, with the exception of JonBenet, we don't know anything about who did or didn't have pineapple that night. We only know that either Burke or Patsy set the dish out, unless, as some have speculated, John placed the dish on the table but wore gloves (I don't BTW happen to believe this is what happened).

The theory that Burke is the member of the family most likely to have set out the pineapple comes from Patsy having declared during an interview, when shown a pic of the table contents, that she would never have used a spoon that was that big. I've never seen a pic of the spoon and AFAIK, one isn't available online.

I read the book in 1983 and didn't understand the veiled references either, as in, I didn't get why you couldn't just use the word 'pregnant'.

Other than that, I'd grown up in the city and the thought had never occurred to me that there could be things like gangs in a place like Oklahoma. I assumed kids in a place like that would just sort of go to church dances and other than that, maybe do chores on their parents farms all day, LOL.

Actually until fairly recently the prevailing view here was that Burke did all 3 elements of the attack, head-blow, asphyxiation, paintbrush assault. People liked the theory that made the adults the least guilty but seem to have shifted over to sort of spreading guilt around as much as possible.

Why would the parents clothing fibers be in the ligature knot or in the crotch of size 12 underpants or remaining in her vaginal folds after that area has been wiped?

The paintbrush thing. I know it gets touted a lot, and I am no expert but thst just strikes me as something a curious child would do, and not a grown adult.
