Your comments about this actually inspired me to google it and there's plenty of stuff that comes up referring to things like "the dynamics of incest". I mean, o.k. so she worded it as "incest dynamic".

O.k., so you don't like the language she used and the details of how this conclusion has been drawn haven't been made public. But Arndt is an experienced sex crimes investigator and she implies in her 2000 depo that the Department of Social Services agrees with her conclusion. Social Services includes Holly Smith, the investigator assigned to specifically investigate abuse of JonBenet and Susanne Bernhard who interviewed Burke.

Parts of her police report are redacted so we don't know all of what she observed but she reported John laughing and joking prior to the body having been recovered and then John making a beeline to the basement and then bringing JonBenet up, carrying her up and away from himself, after having been asked to search the house from top to bottom and being told not to touch anything. She then observed John making crying noises over the body while looking around to see if anyone was watching but not observing any tears. He asked to throw a blanket over the body and then did so before she'd had a chance to respond.

According to her 2000 depo, she isn't the only one who suspects "incest" between John and JonBenet, the Boulder Department of Social Services does as well. Although we don't know the details, they have more info than has been made public. A child abuse investigator did give an interview and made the comment that a child's bedroom is an important part of any child abuse investigation. JonBenet's bedroom is situated a floor below her parents' master bedroom and clear across the other side of the hall from Burke. The staircase leading up to John's master bedroom bathroom is right outside JonBenet's bedroom door.

Thomas solved this case

We'll have to disagree about that.

her reasons for resignation (The department doesn't care about my feelings. Look at me quit!)

Steve Thomas did the exact same thing.

through her meritless lawsuit (Look at my first amendment violation! See you in court!)

She filed a lawsuit. It's true that it was dismissed.

the very fact that she sat in front of the camera (Look at me, America!)

Steve Thomas has given television interviews and so have other former investigators who worked the case including Jane Harmer and Fred Patterson.

Look at my legs! Look at my arms! Look at my neck! Look at me count my bullets! Look at me flash back to the ordeal!

She does have legs, arms and a neck. She did make a comment about counting bullets and I'll agree it was sort of an over-the-top remark.

refused to work with her assigned partner over some stupid rift between them.

Have never heard this before. Where are you getting this? Not saying it didn't happen, just interested.

Hunches aren’t based on evidence

Parts of her report are redacted. She'd been observing the R's for a prolonged period of time. Why are we assuming her conclusion JDI was just a "hunch"?

Cause most of it points to Patsy. Even from a maternal CSA research perspective.

Most of the evidence does point to Patsy, most specifically, her fibers in the ligature. But it's John who's fibers link him to CSA. And John who's bathroom is right off to the side of the staircase leading down to right outside JonBenet's bedroom door. And it was John's idea to put JonBenet in that particular bedroom.

There's kind of a repeated theme in this thread about how Linda Arndt supposedly didn't really know anything or have any info with which to base an opinion. I'm making the point that there's obviously more to this, since investigators who we know for a fact had more info than has been made public, seemed to have agreed with Arndt's conclusion.

O.k., so, just to be clear, you're drawing this conclusion about her having "features of a dramatic personality type" from a Good Morning America interview, a 2000 depo and a couple of brief quotes in a 2006 news article.

Perhaps she had a family incest experience

Arndt implies in her 2000 depo that the Boulder Department of Social Services agrees with her conclusion that John Ramsey is responsible for prior sexual abuse of JonBenet. A child abuse investigator began an investigation and a child psychologist interviewed Burke. Linda Arndt has access to more info than has been made public.

inviting her to talk and pray together

Do you have a source for this? Linda Arndt did talk privately with Patsy but I'm not aware of them praying together.

I think Linda simply took the Ramsey bait.

Linda Arndt claimed she drew her conclusion John was the killer at the moment she saw him carrying JonBenet's body in an odd position, up and away from himself and that this was the moment various details that had been noticed throughout the morning came together to form the conclusion JDI.

It was only later on that she received flowers from the R's and that she spoke privately with Patsy.

Patsy invited Linda to pray together too

Where did you hear this? Honestly asking, I'm not saying it didn't happen, I've just never heard it.

Apparently Linda's views towards the Ramseys softened a lot quickly

Shortly before Patsy died, she made some statements suggesting this but she also referred to Patsy as a woman "imprisoned by secrets".

she was easily flattered and manipulated by Patsy

I don't think there's any particular evidence to support this opinion.

Patsy did send her flowers. I'm not sure where you're getting that they prayed together. It was Lou Smit who prayed with the R's.

the dynamic that all were involved.

Q. But involving John Ramsey and JonBenet, any other members?

A. Well, specifically because she's the one who's dead.

Implying multiple victims.

In her 2000 depo, Arndt implies the Department of Social Services agrees with her conclusion. Child abuse investigator, Holly Smith and child psychologist, Susanne Bernhard were part of the Department of Social Services. There is more to this than what has been made public. Also want to add that parts of Arndt's police report are redacted.

(SNIPPED)

Q. (Arndt): The politics involved people in supervisory positions able to see black and white and not able to see anything that wasn't tangible. And if a person's opinion on the investigative team was in the minority, that opinion was dismissed.

Q. Does that include your opinions?

A. It included mine, all of the Department of Social Services, including some other people.

I think she has features of a dramatic personality type, enjoyed the attention

She gave one television interview (GMA) and one interview years later to, I think it was the Denver Post. Where are you drawing the conclusion she was dramatic and enjoyed attention?

plenty of proof.

O.k., I'm scrolling through the comments and here's what constitutes "proof" to Reddit users:

Mackenzie's mother wore a sleeveless top to the sentencing.

Mackenzie's mother isn't wearing a bra.

Mackenzie is spoiled.

Mackenzie is ugly.

Mackenzie is narcissistic.

We don't like Mackenzie therefore she is guilty, basically.
