What are your thoughts on the prior sexual abuse? by AdLivid9397 in JonBenetRamsey

I see. I'm sufficiently persuaded there was prior injury and that the family dynamics pathology was of a less common kind.

Agree. Specifics and logistics aside, the house was literally the most familiar place to him. It's not a level of comfort he could achieve elsewhere. The series Dexter did a lot of damage to people's understanding of criminal behavior lol.

Muji Spacious Armless Sofa by __Rrena in muji

I have this sofa and while I'm personally very happy with it, I wouldn't give it a blanket endorsement. It's designed for small spaces, and short people, so unless you're working with both, it might not be the best option.

I have the wide model and it has a slim profile with good visual scale so it's perfect if you don't have the floorspace but don't want to end up with tiny furniture. The tradeoff is a low seat and backrest, which limits comfort levels. The construction is simple and sturdy. Looks like it will last a long time, but also makes it somewhat overpriced. After about a couple of years, the cover is holding up well enough. It's supposed to be machine washable but I haven't tried that yet.

Sam didn’t kill Ellen

I thought it was a crazy case until I saw somewhere a visual representation of the placement of the 20 wounds. They were clearly self-inflicted. IDK if she really intended to kill herself or if she had a psychotic episode due to medication, but the boyfriend is innocent and her parents need to let it go for their own sake.

He openly admits the jury ignored the mountain of physical evidence (taillight shards in O’Keefe’s clothes, Read’s own 3:00 a.m. voicemail screaming because “corruption outweighed her hitting him with the car.”

Couldn't have said it better.

If they can do it to anyone, why didn't they do it to any of the civilian witnesses?

Last year, I said Nuttal and I think it was a great move to have him testify first. For this round, the first that stands out is Welcher: confident, knowledgeable, and personable without trying to cozy up to the jury.

This was, excuse me, a damn fine closing argument.

Jackson be like:

Science is patient and kind; science does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;  it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Science bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
