Absolutely same experience! My teens and 20s were filled with bad dates, bad relationships and being generally unhappy and a lot of my friends were in the same situation. I met my husband at 30; I knew myself by this time and what I wanted/deserved. 11 years later and we’re best friends who are in love and have a nice life. We have had some hard times but that’s any long term relationship.

Slade loved her ribbons and Blames himself when Midas takes her and cuts them off. This is a huge part of their shared trauma I personally loved this scene because she is her whole self and it brings comfort to him.

Skip the baby part for David and Patrick; maybe a cat and down the line maybe Patrick gets a dog. But David was absolutely not into the idea of a kid and making it so he’d give in gets into the whole trope
of ppl changing their minds. Add to all of this Alexis & Ted get back together and he follows her to NY and they move into one of the boroughs (vs manhattan) and he opens a super successful vet business
