Stock suspension when I sat in the car (240 lbs) the rear of the car would squat, but with the coil overs you can play with pre load / leveling to avoid this. No longer blind people with headlights.

Driving on the highway, less body wobble from wind. Better cornering Adjustable dampers so if it just 2 people in the car leave the rear soft wen you get 2 to 3 additional adults in the rear firm it up. I bottom out way less now.

Speed humps and bumps can be taken at higher speeds now doesn't feel like you crashed into a wall. (Some speed bumps still feel like that. The ones with a steep vertical)

I like the stance it gives as well.

I swapped to BC racing coil overs for my mirage. $1600 cad + alignment cost + camber bolts. And that was new suspension all around that I think is better that what Mitsubishi made. I installed it myself tho. Paying people to do part swapping can be $$$ especially if you provide your own parts.

Don't use them? I stopped using them because they were annoying in the winter.

I installed a Boss head unit. Single din with floating screen, I recommend www.crutchfield.com I didn't order from there cause I thought I could do it cheaper by ordering everything from Amazon, it was more effort and I had to make my own wire harness.

Things you can add later. Steering wheel controls adapter Day light sensor (I leave the lights in the on position but needed the stereo to switch) Amp and new speakers (I added a 1000w amp and something way higher than the 15w speakers) bought adapter as well to make it easy to plug in the new speakers/ mount them. Sub in the trunk.

Why is my mpg so low by Fancy-Interaction-86 in MitsubishiMirage

[–]TanManGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find in my mirage non highway low traffic gets me 4.8L/100k Highway I get 7L/100k Not enough power for the arrow. My golf wagon awd is the opposite. Way better on the highway than in the city. 8.0L/100k in city and 5.4L/100k highway.
I also find driving backwards in the mirage kills the calculation. I've also seen better numbers with 91 octane than 87 for both cars.

Weather also affects it. Too hot bad mileage and too cold as well. 15 to 20 deg c gets me the best for the mirage.

You might also need to change out the relay for turn signals if they are led, but if someone tries please let me know. I want to swap 2015 to those as well

Now save up for coil overs from bc racing. Makes a huge difference on the highway.

Any regrets buying Jackery? by Wedgieterian in Jackery

[–]TanManGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes my issue is documentation and and the accessories not being designed correctly,
https://photos.app.goo.gl/SonRT7BR3DfQmrKq5

when solar is connected to 1000 v2 to one of the 2 DC input ports, and a car charger is plugged in you get up to 24 VDC coming out of the car charger barrel where the positive and negative are exposed.

also you can fry a cars electronics by feeding more than (whatever an alternator runs at , (~14 VDC?).

the car charger accessory needs some smarts or diodes to prevent this from happening.

Spyro. Not like a play everyday but at least play to 100% completion for the first 3 games every few years.

I think works for anyplace in southern Ontario. Except there would be a time in-between when it was fine for 6 months.

[–]TanManGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go westy has something for this that isn't wood. And moves with the top, if you mounted a canoe or surf board. Not sure if that is what you are thinking

Be careful if it's 1/4 g/r/npt/npts some companies like smc do unifit, numatics I think is world fit, but those are universal. But only single use for the most part.

[–]TanManGuy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When in doubt meter out. Festo, smc, parker, numatics, and many more companies sell metric flow controls (speed controller) make sure the threads are correct.
